Online GoForm: How the New Check-in and Check-out Works from June 19th

June 10, 2025 in About Hiring Out, Tips for hiring out & How it works

Great news—from June 19th 2025 onwards, our GoForm can be filled out online! That means easier and more streamlined handovers, using a new feature on your desktop or via our App. No more printed forms, just a streamlined check-in and check-out experience for both you and your travellers. Here’s why using this new feature will make life a lot easier for you, and a demonstration of how it works.

Benefits of this new feature

With the introduction of the online GoForm, handing over your motorhome has never been simpler. This step-by-step tool guides both you and your traveller through the check-in and check-out process directly from the Goboony app or your booking dashboard.

Here’s why it’s in your best interest to use this feature:

✅ No need for a printer

No paperwork, no hassle. Complete the entire process online in real time.

✅ Better exchange of information

The GoForm includes structured checklists so nothing is missed—ideal for familiarising travellers with everything they need to know about your vehicle.

✅ Better overview

Easily track every step of the handover, all stored in one place and accessible anytime from your booking overview or the app.

✅ Fewer disputes

Damages and condition are confirmed on the spot with the traveller, reducing the risk of any disagreements later on.

✅ Smarter between-booking transfers

Existing damage is automatically shown in future bookings—no need to repeat yourself.

✅ Works on any device

Fill out the GoForm on your phone, tablet or computer. Photo features work best on mobile, so we recommend downloading the app, but you’ve got options.

How the online GoForm works

When your traveller arrives to pick up your motorhome, you’ll open the GoForm together via the booking overview or in the App by clicking ‘Start GoForm’ (available on the day the booking starts). The form guides you both through each part of the check-in, covering:

Once completed, breakdown and emergency information will be displayed, after which all details of the GoForm will appear on your device and can be adjusted before both parties sign digitally. The full document is saved in the booking overview and available as a downloadable PDF—handy for future reference.

And what about check-out?

When the motorhome is returned, it’s just as straightforward. Start the check-out by clicking ‘Finalise GoForm’ in the booking overview or the app.

The traveller reviews and signs the final form, or can indicate if they disagree with any entries. Make sure they stay present during the check-out process to avoid confusion later.

A few extra tips

  • If damage has occurred, be sure to log it in the GoForm during check-out. Once the check-out is complete, you can then submit a claim for each damage via your dashboard.

  • No internet connection? A paper version is still available in your booking documents for emergencies.

  • The GoForm remains your legal and practical reference for handling security deposits, additional costs and potential disputes.
