This Bürstner Campeo's nickname is Dan the Campervan. It was specially designed and proudly equipped for numerous long-distance excursions. I wanted to briefly describe Dan for you, but it didn't work out, so here it is...
- En route -
The pilot seats with armrests, power steering, and cruise control make for a delightful driving experience. When driving defensively at low speeds with the Citroën 2.2 engine and 140 hp, 6-speed manual transmission, you can achieve an average fuel consumption of 8.8 l/100 km.
Its 6m length (2.65m height) allows easy access to the city, which is permitted with the Euro 6 diesel (FR & DE environmental sticker available). You can park in a regular parking space, and the reversing camera is very useful. The radio features DAB+, FM, a Bluetooth car kit, and a USB port. There's space on the dashboard to mount your mobile device for navigation. With a payload of 545kg, you don't have to worry about unsafe excess weight.
- Living -
Dan the Campervan offers the ideal in-between size. Despite its limited length, it's spacious and open-plan. The rear doors open fully to enjoy the view from the bed, unlike most motorhomes with closed rears and narrow entrance doors. The wide sliding side door provides a beautiful view from the living/dining area.
- Cozy and functional lighting: adjustable reading lights, high beams, dimmable LED strips, and indirect floor lighting.
- Living/dining area with extendable table.
- Kitchen with sink, 2-burner gas stove and 90l refrigerator (electric) with freezer compartment.
- Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower that can also be accessed through the window.
- Plenty of closet space, one closet is provided for hangers, large storage space under the bed.
- 100l fresh water tank, an all-season campervan thanks to the powerful heating, insulation and extra Soplair Thermocover for the windows of the driver's cabin.
Thule awning for protection against sun or rain. Built-in mosquito screens on the side and roof windows.
- TV set for rainy days. (Chromecast not included)
Equipped with a solar panel and 2 x 95A home batteries. In addition to several 220V sockets (which only work when connected to the mains), there are also several USB charging points (which run on the home batteries/solar panel).
The campervan is equipped with a sticker inside with a QR code and a hyperlink to instructional videos, useful during your trip.
- To sleep -
At 197x153cm, it's one of the most spacious double beds in the rear of a campervan, equipped with the comfortable Bürstner bed concept with cold foam mattresses and a slatted base. It also includes a double mattress protector that is cleaned after each rental.
Furthermore, Dan the Campervan is fully equipped with everything you need for a wonderful and comfortable holiday:
