We hereby offer our brand new Peugeot e-Expert for rent. We purchased this with the idea of a camper in mind and the idea of sharing it with people.
He (or she? We don't have a name for it yet!) is available for rental from 3 to 9 places. The bed doesn't fit behind it with 3 rows of seats. This is possible with 2 rows (6p), although there is not much room left. 4 seats are also possible, then there is 1 seat in the second row. That's how we use it most ourselves. You see, it is modular.
We have a camper-in-a-box system, where you have 2 drawers for cooking utensils and the like. If you unfold it, you get a bed with room for 2 people (120x190cm). It can also be used with a table as seating for 2-4 people (the latter is tight), but that is not for large people! This campervan is primarily intended for outdoor living, not for spending entire days in the van.
We have put this together with the idea of being able to camp completely off-grid. So we also opted for an induction stove with 2 cooking zones. Of course, this also includes a large separate battery, with which you can charge laptops, lamps, mobile phones and the like. This battery is charged with a solar panel located on the roof.
The range of this campervan is about 300 km. We do promote the idea of slow travel here, so don't drive along highways (or not too fast), drive slower... If you can handle that, the range will be expanded somewhat (there and back Dilbeek-Libramont has just been achieved on 1 load and some left over, I suspect you can even reach 400km via normal roads from village to village!).
If you have any questions, shoot! Be sure to let me know if you're interested. It's new to us, so it also helps us if we know exactly what you are looking for.
We hope to be able to install a pop-up roof in the near future, so that 4 people can sleep in it, but for the time being that is still in the future.
