Knut – DIY Ford Transit (Knut) for 2 people

You can rent our self-converted Ford Transit (Knut) from 2009 here.
We bought the bus in mid-2020 and then brought it into perfect technical condition and converted it the way we wanted it.
We have already enjoyed some nice weekends and an extensive trip through England and Scotland with Knut.

Knut is equipped with a solar system, which supplies a 120Ah battery with electricity.
Furthermore, it has an auxiliary heater, so that it does not get cold even on cold days or nights.
In the "kitchen" there is running water, limited to 17 liters, but the containers can be filled and emptied very easily.
A compressor fridge is also installed in the bus and offers enough space for 2 people.
On board you will also find a gas cartridge cooker, chairs, a table, cutlery, plates, spices, ramps and much more.

The bed can be pulled out and, when pushed together, serves as a seat or couch. Pulled out, you can then relax and sleep comfortably for two on a very comfortable mattress (140 x 190).
There is enough storage space for your luggage under the bed.

As a highlight, there is a roof terrace on the bus where you can relax.

As a shower solution, we have a shower bag and a shower head with a submersible pump on board, which can simply be held in a bucket of water, a lake or similar.
There is also a camping toilet with compostable bags in the bus for everyday business or an "emergency" in between, this is portable.
