We'd like to rent our camper to others. This is because it's a shame to stand still, and we'd love to see it used.
It has been completely rebuilt over the past six months and the vehicle itself has also undergone major maintenance.
Like a new torque converter. Automatic transmission oil changed. Aligned. Major service.
This reliable 2.2L sprinter will get you anywhere with ease, and you can stay off-grid for days thanks to the enormous power station and 800-watt solar panels!
We have already camped with it a bit recently and the kids love it.
This summer we're going away for five weeks and want to be completely off the grid. So no campsites, but beautiful overnight stays along streams, rivers, mountain peaks, towns, and so on.
You have 70 liters of clean water with you.
A large toilet that slides forward to create plenty of seating, and which the five of us can use for a weekend. The youngest is just potty-trained, so she uses it most often ;)
You can cook with induction indoors and outdoors. The cooktop is removable, and the outdoor outlet is positioned so you can cook there as well. So, with or without wind, cooking is quick and easy thanks to induction.
A cup of coffee with the induction espresso maker and the 230v kettle will ensure that you have a delicious cup of tea or coffee within 5 minutes.
You can also make delicious warm rolls in the oven and the 50-liter refrigerator with freezer provides plenty of cooling space.
The kitchen is full of storage space and the large drawers make everything easily accessible.
The storage space in the overhead cupboards is nicely spacious and the garage under the bed, which is accessible from inside and outside, provides a huge amount of storage space.
The train seat is now configured to accommodate three seats. A fourth seat could be added, but there's no sleeping space for that; an extra tent would be needed. This does allow for travel with six people, as we do have an extra seat that can be easily clicked in.
It used to be a taxi bus and there is a rail in the floor where you can click a seat into anywhere.
The passenger seat swivels and folds up. So when camping, you can simply fold it away with the seat up for plenty of living space. And when driving, you can simply fold it back and sit comfortably in the front for a chat.
The sleeping areas are made of hammocks. Young children can sleep comfortably in them, but as they grow older, they no longer fit. Nets are hung to prevent them from falling out.
All beds are foldable, and the front bed is even removable. So, for a family of four, removing it completely creates even more living space.
the dimensions of the bed are:
2 of 140x60 (on the side)
1 of 125x60 (at the front)
Our 8-year-old daughter still fits in it well, but I don't think it will work when she's 10. She'd either have to sleep on the train seat when the table is down or in a tent outside. I haven't built one yet, but it's easy to implement in due course.
