Hello and welcome to our family camper!
This extended Ford Transit once served as a wheelchair transporter. There is therefore a handy 'click floor' which makes it possible to remove the rear seats or put them in a different position. There are also large tinted windows all around and a very nice fan in the ceiling that can blow air in and out. About 2 years ago the bus was converted into a camper by a professional. There is a built-in fixed bed (2m long) with lots of storage space underneath. Next to the bed is a spacious wooden cupboard with 2 storage spaces and a built-in kitchen with a running tap and 2 gas burners. Below this is a standing refrigerator including a freezer compartment. There is a large solar panel on the roof that supplies the entire camper with power 24 hours a day. There are various lights, mood lighting and reading lights in the camper and USB charging points. This makes it possible to travel completely off-grid. So you don't have to go to a campsite for electricity. We have always had enough power to charge everything, have the fan on at night and use the lamps, even on cloudy days.
Last year we built a number of things for the holidays with our children (baby and toddler). We built a crate/sit bench behind the front seat, a large table top (to create a seating area) and a bunk bed above our bed. This bed is large enough for a toddler/small toddler. In the sitting area you can also build a platform using a plank to turn it into a bed that would fit a small child.
If you do not have children, the bunk bed can of course also be used as extra storage for bedding, for example.
There are 3 seats in the front and 2 in the back (these can also be removed if desired). So there are 5 seats with belts.
Above the cockpit there is an extra large storage space where we stored cooking utensils, for example.
There are curtains all around and we have insulation blinds for the front windows.
If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you!
Love, Frank, Laura and the rest
