Family camper with bunk bed, 6 persons - Sunlight Alcove from 2009

We are very pleased with our 2009 Sunlight Capron A366 and are now offering it for rent so that others can enjoy it too.

TO SLEEP
The camper is suitable for 4 people and we use it ourselves with 4 people. Our children each have their own place in the bunk bed in the back and we sleep in the alcove. The advantage of this is that the two train seats remain free to sit and nothing needs to be converted. However, it is possible to convert these seats into 3 extra sleeping places.

The alcove has a spacious mattress of 140x210 cm and the mattresses in the bunk bed are 70x200 cm wide. If desired, there is a curtain in the alcove and in the bunk bed a curtain and a safety gate can also be used.

For bookings of 5 days or more, fitted sheets for the fixed beds, bath towels for 4 people and kitchen towels are included in the rent. Of course, it is also possible to use your own fitted sheets and towels. If you are traveling with more than 4 people, we will look for a solution for extra sleeping places in consultation.

TO RIDE
The camper has 6 approved seats, all equipped with a retractable seat belt. So everyone can choose a favorite spot while driving.

It can take some getting used to driving a large vehicle, but the camper drives quite easily. You should always be aware of your size and not try to drive into a parking garage, for example. The camper is reasonably long with a length of 6.96 meters (7.60 meters with the bike carrier). The rear wheels are double air, which ensures stable road holding.

The camper has a 2.4 liter Ford turbo diesel engine with 140 hp and can therefore keep up with traffic. The vehicle is equipped with cruise control for a relaxed journey and a cruising speed of around 100 km/h drives pleasantly - when camping, the journey is also part of the holiday!

The registration weight of the camper is 2910 kg - not that much for a camper, but still a considerable weight. The camper is on Light Truck camper tires (2023). For a good view, the camper is equipped with double exterior mirrors.

FURNISHINGS
The camper offers a spacious feeling due to the large standing height and the large roof hatch. Above the beds there is also a roof hatch and all windows and roof hatches are equipped with mosquito nets and sun protection blackout. The entrance door is equipped with a pleated mosquito net and the cabin also has sun protection blackout.

The camper has plenty of cupboards and storage space, as well as a garage under the bunk bed. On the outside there is a separate storage compartment for the ramps and the cable for the power supply. There is more than enough crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils for 6 people, including various pans, a toaster and a kettle. There are also various games and useful supplies for on the road.

For outdoor comfort there are 2 tables and 4 chairs available and a large awning. In the bathroom there is a chemical toilet for minor needs. It is possible to shower in the camper, but due to the limited space and a maximum of 10 liters of hot water this is more suitable for occasional use. There is a laundry basket and a clothesline in the bathroom.

MISUSE
When travelling with a camper it is useful to take bicycles with you for extra freedom of movement. On the back of the camper there is a bicycle carrier for 2 bicycles that is firmly attached to the camper. The bicycles are also attached to the rear wall with strong clamps and a tension strap goes around them so that everything is well secured. There is also a reversible marker board that is approved for both Italy and Spain.

ELECTRICITY
For the electricity supply there is a long CEE cable and an extra extension cable in case it is needed. The camper is equipped with sockets and everywhere there are USB connections available that work directly on the 12V system.

The camper has an on-board battery that is charged when the camper is connected to electricity and while driving. The refrigerator (with freezer compartment) works on 230V, 12V or gas. The 12V mode only works when the car engine is running, just like any other camper. This is intended to maintain cooling while on the road.

GAS
Gas is very useful for mobile living. The camper has a combined gas heater and boiler for hot water. The heater distributes the hot air through pipes throughout the camper, making the camper usable even in cold weather. The spacious kitchen has a 3-burner gas stove and on the outside of the camper there is a gas connection with quick coupling. There are two gas bottles, of which one is always full and one is opened when renting. The consumption of one gas bottle is included in the rental, so the camper can be returned with one empty bottle. A gas bottle lasts a long time, but if you are on the road for a long time, it can happen that you also empty the second bottle. In that case, you must provide a new one yourself. The gas bottles are of the most common design and can be exchanged anywhere in Europe.

SECURITY
Since a camper is a valuable possession, there are various safety features. In case of theft, the camper can be traced via the GPS tracker.

EXTRAS
The camper is equipped with a roof air conditioner (220V), with which you can cool or heat the camper at the destination. There is also an automatic satellite system with TV.

HOUSE RULES
We assume that you as a tenant will treat the camper just as carefully as we do. We are very careful with our camper and do everything we can to keep it in good condition and to improve it where possible. But it is not new, so it is possible that something does not work properly. In that case, we will also think along with you to find the best possible solution.

The camper is delivered clean and with a full tank and we expect it to be returned that way. The toilet must be empty and cleaned and the water tanks (clean water and waste water) must be emptied.

Because we assume that you will return the camper clean, we do not charge cleaning costs as standard. However, if it turns out to be necessary for us to clean the camper extra, €50 will be deducted from the deposit. If the fuel tank is not full or both gas bottles are empty, the costs to fix this will be deducted from the deposit, with a surcharge of €15.

FORMALITIES
The camper may only be used in countries that fall within the coverage area of the insurance (European Union, EFTA countries and Great Britain). Due to the terms of the insurance, the driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a B driving license for at least 3 years. We would also like to get to know you first before we give you our precious camper.

If you have any further questions, you can of course always contact us. It is also possible to come and view the camper without obligation, provided it is not rented out. Rental periods are flexible, but in high season we like to see the camper being used optimally.

During your trip you can park your car with us. We also offer the possibility to pick up and bring the camper, or to help with, for example, arrival by public transport. In consultation, much is possible!
