Three years ago we bought our T6 Multivan with Reimo pop-up roof and then further equipped it as a comfortable camper. It is a fantastic touring car and a very nice camper. After a day of traveling we always arrive relaxed at our destination. Maneuvering on narrow roads or in a village or city and parking is essentially no different than with a normal passenger car. Thanks to the smooth engine, every mountain can be easily conquered.
The car itself is equipped with every luxury: 150 HP engine, DSG automatic transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, parking sensors, media system, seat heating, etc.
The car also works perfectly as a camper.
In the living area, the sliding rear bench (3 seats) can easily be converted into a comfortable bed across the entire width of the car (approx. 150x185). The second bed in the pop-up roof has a size of approx. 125x190.
Behind the driver's seat is a compact kitchen unit with sufficient storage space for kitchen utensils, kettle and coffee maker. The kitchen unit offers space for a 1-burner gas stove/sink combination with water tap, fresh and waste water tank (2x 10 litres) and a table. An extra separate grill/cooker for outdoor use is part of the permanent inventory.
In this layout of the bus we have chosen a separate Dometic CoolFreeze cool box with a capacity of 21 litres. When we are on the road, the cool box is behind the passenger seat. At the destination, the cool box moves to the driver's seat. This works very well.
The front passenger seat is rotatable, allowing it to be incorporated into the living area as a seat.
In the camper van we have had 230V installed with external CEE connection and charging equipment for both the car battery and the domestic battery. For the somewhat cooler evenings an electric heater can be used.
The further equipment includes the standard table and camping chairs built into the sliding door, curtains, multi-rail with matching retractable awning with loose side wall, and other useful accessories. For cycling enthusiasts, a bicycle carrier is available (on the tow bar).
A camper manual and inventory list will be sent by email approximately 1 week before the rental period. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Unfortunately we don't have any real "action photos" of our camper yet. We will work on that soon.
