5p Fiat alcove from 2001

After a year of crisscrossing the country and looking at 14 campervans, we were about to give up hope in 2019. But there it is, campervan number 15, in The Hague. It's love at first sight.

After a thorough inspection by brother Tijs's garage and cousin Teun's campervan company, we're certain we're not buying a pig in a poke with this beast. Five years later, that still holds true: our campervan has never let us down in all those years, holidays, and weekends away, and it drives like a dream. It's inspected and inspected annually, of course.

We also have experience with renting through Camptoo. That, too, has always gone smoothly. It's a shame that all the reviews were lost with Camptoo's bankruptcy. So, let's see for ourselves!

Who we are: Bram (38), Elle (40), Marie (8), and Cato (5). We live in Sint-Oedenrode, a village between Eindhoven and 's-Hertogenbosch. Our campervan is also located there. We are neat and tidy, don't smoke, don't have pets, and are flexible with pick-up and return times.

Good to know: the refrigerator unfortunately no longer works while driving, although it does work when connected to electricity (at the campsite, for example).
