Hi! We are Pim and Renske and we had our own camper converted!
The advantage of that is that it drives like a van (smooth, quick, and automatic) and, of course, that it is laid out and furnished just the way we like it! Thanks to the solar panels, you usually don't need electricity.
To sleep:
The bus offers sleeping accommodation for up to 4 people: two adults and two children/little people. When used by two people, the 1.90m long double bed can be adjusted to different heights, and there is plenty of storage space underneath. The lower bed is then folded away.
When used by more people, the 2-person bed can be raised to create a double loft bed, where the upper bed is slightly shorter (1.80m). The lower bed then has an empty space above it; see the photo with the removed children's faces :-).
The windows can all be darkened.
Seat:
The bus has a bench at the front that seats two people or accommodates two child seats, with a small table. The two front seats can be rotated (pilot seats) so that you have a 4-person seating area when camping.
Sitting outside:
We have an awning on the side of the bus for shade.
By arrangement, we can also lend you our awning, which you can attach directly to the van to provide you with more space and privacy. You can also attach it to the canopy to create a covered walkway between the camper and the tent; see one of the photos. It is a spacious and bright awning where four people can easily sit at a table.
Heat and light:
The bus has a heater and solar panels. So you can use it all year round and need little to no electricity. This allows you to stay in unique spots without a power supply. Atmospheric lights are built in throughout the bus. We have a fan for the warm days.
To cook:
There is a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment and a 2-burner gas stove for cooking. There is a water tank for tap water. Plates, glasses, cutlery, and pans are provided.
Storage space:
There is ample storage space in the camper. On the roof and at the rear, we have a roof rack available for bicycles or a surfboard. Inside the van, there are cupboards for clothing (two above the bed), for games and small belongings (two by the bed and two above the table), and larger cupboards above and below the refrigerator and above the driver's compartment.
Do you have any questions or would you like to see more photos? Please do not hesitate to contact us! We are happy to help.
Regards, Pim and Renske
Please note: we do not have a toilet or shower on board.
