De overdracht verliep vlot, maar omdat het voor ons beiden nieuw was, het huren en verhuren van een camper, hadden we achteraf nog wat administratieve afhandelingen vergeten maar dit is nog net voor vertrek goed gekomen.
De camper is goed uitgerust en we hadden zelfs nog wat extra accessoires meegekregen zoals een inductie, opblaasbare zitzakken en nog allerlei allerhande spullen.
De camper zelf deed het perfect, de dieselmotor is krachtig genoeg om vlot tegen een steile weg op te rijden (Stelvio, het Zwarte Woud e.d.) te samen met de DSG automatenbak, de adaptive cruise control en klimaatregeling en 4 motion aandrijving is het een heerlijke reiscamper, ik stapte er fris als een hoentje uit na een paar uur rijden.
Verder is het goed toeven binnen in de camper, zelfs met slecht weer, de stand kachel aan en het word en blijft aangenaam warm, binnen eten is ook goed te doen, passagiersstoel om draaien, tafeltje uitklappen en je kunt elkaar aan kijken bij het eten. De VW T6 Westfalia is de luxe Ocean uitvoering en dus van veel gemakken voorzien, zoals veel oplaadpunten, dimbare binnenverlichting, elektrisch hefdak en zelfs een buitendouche.
