Bessie is a nice 2.8 JTD Fiat Ducato Alcove camper of over 6 meters, with a nice interior space where you can relax. Playing a game at the dinette (table), reading a book in the alcove, while cooking in the kitchen, it can all be done at the same time in this camper, without getting in each other's way.
There is room to sit inside for about 6 (up to a maximum of 8) people.
There is sleeping space for approximately 4 people (or approximately 2 adults and 3 children) if the dinette has been converted. Without converting the dinette, there is standard sleeping space for 3 people; namely at the top of the alcove and the sofa, which (slatted base pulled out) is a single bed.
The alcove at the top is a nice "sleep and chill place", also wonderful during the day to read, watch a movie or take a nap, for example. The alcove is accessible by a ladder and has a low gate to close so that small children do not fall out.
The kitchen unit is located at the back and is equipped with all kinds of cooking utensils such as pans, dishes, crockery, oven, coffee perculator, kettle, etc.
It has a three-burner gas stove and a refrigerator that runs on (board) electricity and gas.
Bessie has 6 belts (5x a three-point belt and 1 hip belt). There is a toilet with extraction, sink and shower in the bathroom.
Bessie has a solar panel (110 w with inverter; 220v and 12v sockets available).
The hydrolic suspension and chip tuning makes her ride comfortable. It runs on diesel and uses approximately 1:10 km, depending on your speed, among other things. I like to drive 100 km/h, which I think is a great cruising speed. But 120 km/h is no problem either. She has a 2.8 engine, which makes her easy to get through the mountains.
Bessie has a very sturdy, fixed bicycle rack that fits 3 bicycles, including e-bikes. Including the bicycle rack, Bessie is approximately 6.60 meters long. The alcove window cannot currently be opened, there is a temporary transparent plastic/plastic plate in front of it. This will be replaced in due course.
We enjoy sharing our Bessie with other campers so that others can enjoy fun camper adventures.
If you are going to rent Bessie, I can send you videos in advance (Whatsapp) with explanations about various things in and around the camper, so that you can be well prepared and possibly also check a few things during the trip.
A linen package is possible upon consultation for a fee (please indicate in advance). Please consider the environmental zones and necessary vignettes that still need to be purchased.
The times to pick up or return Bessie are not fixed times, but are subject to consultation. You can park your car for free near us.
We wish you lots of fun with our Bessie...!
