Thank you for your interest in this beautiful 2007 VW campervan, equipped with air conditioning. The van, which has a category B driver's license, has been serviced extensively (new timing belt, new batteries, new clutch, new brakes, new air conditioning pump, new shock absorbers, etc.) and is quite new inside, including the kitchen, interior, and bed!
The van features a 230V refrigerator, a large gas bottle, and a two-burner kitchen unit. In the rear of the garage, there's an additional (and larger) 12V/230V cooler to keep things cold for longer, along with ample storage space, a portable toilet (porta porti), and a water tank. Everything is equipped with 12V plugs. The spacious storage compartments allow you to take plenty of food and drinks for long trips to Norway or Portugal, for example. The solar panel and brand-new batteries (with a completely new setup) in the back allow you to camp off-grid for a few days, perhaps even a week (depending on the sun and power consumption, of course)! Everything can also be connected to shore power (230V) if you decide to stay overnight at a campsite for one or two days a week to recharge. This is done with the attached Victron battery charger.
The kitchen is fairly new and fully equipped, including cutlery, plates, glasses, pans, and everything you need for cooking. Everything was purchased brand new. The cooking area consists of two gas burners and a zinc faucet. You can collect the dirty water in the portable tank, store it in the back of the garage, and empty it later.
The campervan is also equipped with two chairs and a table, a porta-porti toilet for emergencies, and an awning on the outside of the campervan for comfortable seating. Inside, there's a double bed with nightlights and USB ports. The beautifully upholstered interior and laminate flooring, along with the roller blinds, complete the look.
Opposite the kitchen unit are two cushioned benches with a small table for dining indoors in bad weather or when it's cold. These benches can be converted into a small bed or a seating area with cushions. Storage space is located underneath these benches. Next to the kitchen unit and benches is the raised double bed. This is a fixed bed, so it doesn't need to be assembled and disassembled every time. It's built above the camper's garage. A small door allows you to access items from the garage and open and close the gas bottle from the inside. It's ideal that there's a fixed bed. I absolutely wanted this in my camper. The sliding door can remain open, as it has a large fly screen with two zippers spanning the entire width of the door.
Finally, this VW Crafter is adorned with attractive stickers all around, has a truck driver's seat (nice and springy), and drives very smoothly and comfortably. It might be 17 years old, but it's perfectly capable of keeping up in the mountains. And if you get tired on the road, find a nice spot, park it, cover the windows with special cloths, lower the blinds, and go to sleep!
All you need to bring are blankets, pillows, clothes, and groceries. Fill up the tank (it will be full upon pickup) and off to adventure! We hope you have lots of fun with it and take as much care of it as I do. And don't forget that smile! Because when you're driving around in this campervan, you're sure to get attention from fellow travelers asking what brand "Craftcamp" is... ;-) !
yours sincerely,
Ferdi *Globe Trotter*
