The rental price of the 'DreamCatcher' includes, among other things:
- two double beds: 1 downstairs and 1 under the pop-up roof
- duvets and bed and kitchen linen
- toilet on board
- parking heater
- advanced leveling system: so you are always horizontal
- mini washer (for small washes)
- security (safe big enough for your laptop, bearlock, burglar-resistant glass front doors, security locks)
- environmental zones (the camper van runs on petrol and the stickers for France and Germany are on the windscreen).
If you want to travel carefree from place to place and not (always) depend on campsites and 'shore power', then my camper van (DreamCatcher) is just the thing for you. With four seats (with belts) and four sleeping places, you have enough space to make your dreams come true. A 69-liter fresh water tank, an 18-liter waste water tank, a heavy household battery (which is also powered by several solar panels) ensure that you can easily stay 'off-grid' for four to five days. But of course you can also choose to stay at a campsite with this camper van and use the shore power at the campsite, of course.
The camper van is fully equipped, of course all necessary cutlery and kitchen utensils and kitchen linen, a two-burner hob (induction), fridge with freezer compartment, camping chairs and table for when you want to sit outside, under the awning or not. There are also plenty of USB and USB-C connections in the camper van, as well as various regular 230V sockets. You can keep all your devices charged.
You can create the bed downstairs in no time by folding down the sofa. Your bed is (and remains) spread out under the pop-up roof, so you can just slide in. Toppers and fitted sheets are included as standard. I will make sure that they are fresh and clean for you. I will also provide duvets, pillows and duvet covers for two people (for a fee of EUR 17.50 per (part of a) week, which can be extended to four people), but I also think it is fine if you bring your own duvet or sleeping bag. And if your own pillow is the most comfortable, then you can bring it yourself.
There is a bike rack for two bikes. You will find everything else you need, too much to mention (there is a manual and an extensive inventory list in the camper van). I will email you that inventory list a week before departure, so you know what to leave at home and what to take with you. If you have specific questions about the inventory, it is best to contact me. If there is something that is not (yet) there, I can always see if I can provide it. Before departure, I will be happy to tell you exactly how everything works.
In addition to all this, there is still enough storage space for your own belongings. This way you can make your holiday with the DreamCatcher an unforgettable event.
My way of traveling requires extra attention to personal safety. That is why there are solid extra locks on the doors, a bearlock on the gear, a safe to store personal and valuable items and your laptop, among other things, and a GPS tracker to be able to track down the camper van with your items, if that is unexpectedly necessary.
Of course, traveling and staying overnight should remain fun 😉.
Finally, with the DreamCatcher you don't have to worry about environmental zones in France and Germany. This camper van runs on petrol (Euro6), so you won't have any problems with environmental zones there for the time being. That's also nice to know, you can go on the road without a care in the world.
At the end of your trip, you return the bus to me, swept clean. You also empty the waste water tank and the toilet. I will take care of the rest of the cleaning and I charge a fee for that. So you don't have to spend time and energy on cleaning, you stay in the holiday mood for a while (and because I do the cleaning, there can be no discussion about whether you have made the camper van 'clean enough' in my opinion 😉). If you find the camper van too dirty on the outside to dare to return it 😉, you can wash it with soapy water. But in any case, never put it through the car wash, that leads to damage to, for example, the pop-up roof and the solar panels. You don't want to end your dream holiday with unexpected costs for repairing them.
As a final action before returning, make sure the petrol tank is full again. Cheap and close to the return address you can refuel at the OK petrol station on the Abram van Rijckevorselweg 75 in Rotterdam (coming from the A16).
If the 'standard' pick-up/drop-off time doesn't suit you, please let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.
I hope you will enjoy a 'world holiday' with my DreamCatcher, I will do my best for that. I assume that you will appreciate that and therefore just handle all the stuff entrusted to you with care. You happy, I happy 😊.
During your trip you can park your own car in a closed, private parking garage (free of charge). Very safe and also easy for you.
