Meet Camper Cora, a mint green 1991 Fiat Ducato. She drives wonderfully, is surprisingly spacious inside, and always catches the eye. Neighbors come over for a chat, children point her out. That is just the way Cora goes.
A weekend away? Or perhaps a bit longer?
Cora is available for a long weekend, a week, two weeks, or simply as long as you like. She is also available for hire every weekend. Once you step into Cora, you immediately notice that your vacation has begun.
Reliable and always ready to go:
Cora is an older lady, but she almost always starts and is well-maintained. She has had annual maintenance and has just passed her annual service and MOT. She drives smoothly and comfortably, and surprises everyone who gets into her for the first time with just how much space there is inside.
Plenty of sleeping spots:
Cora accommodates a maximum of 5 adults and a toddler.
* Alcove with a luxury mattress
* Central seating area convertible into a double bed
* L-shaped bed at the back where the long section makes a good single bed. You can also fit two kids by placing one on the short section as a toddler bed. We have a bed rail for you if you prefer.
For a family, a couple, or a group of friends, everyone fits in.
Kitchen:
Cora has a fully equipped small kitchen with a sink, a 4-burner gas stove, 2 tall cupboards, and a large pantry. Everything you need is there: plates, cutlery, bowls, glasses, cups, and even a cheese grater. The fridge is small but holds a surprising amount, including a small freezer compartment. It operates in three ways: on the battery while driving, on gas when there is no electricity, and on mains power when you are at a campsite with a hook-up. You switch everything manually, but you receive a detailed description so you know exactly how it works.
Outside:
Outside, you have everything you need for a lovely evening at the campsite: 4 chairs, a child's camping chair, a small table, an outdoor rug, and a retractable awning. Bringing surfboards? They fit perfectly on the roof. And for bicycles, there is a rear rack for 3 lightweight bikes.
Bathroom:
In the bathroom, you will find a small sink and a Porta Potti toilet with a cassette.
Other:
We have a large water tank, which will really last you a while. There is a separate electric heater for when it is cold. And you are always provided with a gas bottle containing sufficient gas. Should it unexpectedly run out, we will reimburse the costs.
The interior:
Cora has a quirky interior with burgundy leopard-print-style upholstery and sand-colored curtains. Signs of wear consistent with her age, but clean and well-maintained. She quickly feels like home.
What is Cora intended for?
Cora is at her best at campsites in the Netherlands and Belgium. She is not a road tripper and loves trips close to home. Think of a weekend on the Zeeland coast, a week in the Ardennes, or two weeks visiting the most beautiful campsites in the Netherlands.
What you need to know:
We like to rent Cora to people who drive neatly and carefully and are used to driving larger vehicles. And we prefer renters who have a roadside assistance subscription.
Cora is ready for her next adventure, a weekend, a week, or longer.
Get in touch if you have any questions and go out and about with her!
