Njord – Spacious practical bus camper

We would also like to share our beautiful, unique bus with you!

We're Gerlof and Nynke, and we're the proud owners of Njord. Five years ago, Njord was a boring, simple, and lonely van. We've completely renovated it to our specifications into a practical and cozy campervan. We're very proud of it and enjoy using it. Njord has already seen many places in Europe, including Norway, Iceland, Spain, and France. Njord is very curious and would love to discover even more places with you.

Comfortable, spacious seating and a comfortable, spacious night's sleep are the most important things. The bed is 140 cm wide and 200 cm long (actually 180 cm wide, feel free to come and have a look). Even next to the made bed, you have plenty of space to get changed while standing. This even leaves a comfortable seating area. You don't have to go to bed at the same time.

The seating area, for four people, is more spacious than any campervan we've seen, thanks to the two swiveling front seats and a practical cooking area. The bench seat is also a proper car bench, perfect for sitting on a rainy day. It's not a simple rectangular caravan seat. And outside, you can sit on comfortable, luxurious garden chairs under a large awning.

The solar panel keeps the household battery charged, so you always have cool air in the refrigerator and heat from the parking heater. For permanent off-grid use. No hassle. We never bring 230V power cables. Even at a campsite, you don't need electricity. You often get the best spots there, like the campers' field.

The parking heater is wonderful. Especially on cold days, just before bed, you can crank up the temperature and get cozy in bed. And when it's not so cold, but rainy, you can quickly blow away that sticky damp feeling.

There's plenty of practical storage space, including eight Euro crates (40 x 60cm), six of which are on the Cargo Slide (under the practical tailgate). This keeps your living space pleasantly tidy.

A tilting bike rack for the tow bar is available. If you're worried about bike theft, you can even store two bikes inside while driving or parked. They can be accessed through the sliding door, into the living area.

The powerful engine will get you moving smoothly in the mountains. It's a clean Euro 5 engine, so you won't encounter any low-emission zones in Europe. Except for a few streets in Darmstadt and Stuttgart. The 2025 toll sticker for Switzerland is already valid.
