**Stop press - so far since signing up to Goboony in June 2025 Aisholpan has been to:
Glastonbury - with a professional drummer and his partner - great driver
Silverstone - FI weekend - different driving!
Blue Reef festival - with some cool lady DJs
Peak District. - 4 friends for a walking weekend
Cropready festival - lovely local family
Please note I don't use the water system. So the loo is fine but 'manual' but the shower is not working. Washing up is easy just using refillable bottle supply. This is how I have always used this camper and I have no idea if the full plumbed system works or not but the HAB check is booked for 23/9 so hopefully then I will know.
Beautifully made and fitted out, Aisholpan is a Class A motorhome offering spacious comfort and a proper nights sleep on the drop down double bed making it easy to arrange everything each night. The seats rearrange to make another smaller double bed. She drives easily just is wider than a normal car so please make sure you are confident with your spatial awareness if you wish to hire her.
Being able to stand up easily, cook on the 3 ring gas hob and use the loo first thing in the morning are my camping requirements. Its great to have the nippy smaller campers for a couple of days but if you want to spend more than 5 more space makes it so much easier.
Slovenia and back was our second trip in our gorgeous, home from home, Adria Vision. She is also great for UK city/ country stops and in the past year I have owned her we have been to Scotland, the south coast, Bath, Cambridge and many other places....She has also been accomodation for a local festival family when they looked at the forecast and sensibly changed their plans from tenting.....
Adria is a Slovenian camper brand and they are ahead of us in terms of fitting out. So, though now 15 years old, she has lovely curvy wood furniture and smooth edges - rarely what was being built in the UK in 2010....We previously owned an Adria caravan and had been impressed by the build quality so I didn't look at other brands when I was looking for a camper as she just met my requirements. I am used to driving a 7.5 t horsebox so for me she is straightforward to drive. If you have only ever driven a small car please think about this - unlike a smaller van she is of similar dimensions to a supermarket delivery van.
Her name comes from the film 'The Eagle Hunteress' as she is bold and brave! Travelling around Slovenia and the Austrian and Swiss alps I have several times met gravel roads with steep inclines that I wished I hadn't - but she has a Renault Master Diesel engine and she is a great vehicle! She is also fairly economical on fuel. Also waking up to a snowy slope in Hereford after a night by the River Wye - again, thankfully she got us out.....
I reckon she does about 30-40 mpg. A full tank is around £130 and lasts quite a while. She is not the fastest on the Autobahn, cruising around 50 is comfortable and she is happy to go up to 65/70 but it feels a bit more of a push.
Please note that the loo is a fully functioning cassette loo, but we have never used the water system for showers/ sink etc as I prefer to just use refillable bottles and canisters (which would come with her full for you to use). If you are an experienced motorhomer then please do work out the water system for me - its not hard and the tank is clean and aired, just I prefer not to use it.
Please note I will need a DVLA check code.
I am new to leasing out my camper and will look into using my own insurance for hirers and other associated things. Please get in touch if you are interested.
