Butch is our Jeep Cherokee and probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen to date, with an ikamper roof tent that sleeps up to 2 adults 2 children and when the awning is attached he's home from home. Featuring five leather heated seats and plenty of storage in the back with our kombi box which houses fridge, water container, cooking utensils and all the power you need. (mains power cable on board and when you are off grid our portable solar panel so you are powered up).
Butch is just as at home off the beaten path wild camping in Scotland or Wales as he is weaving through the towns and cities – and when you’re ready to hit the hay, wherever you are, just head into your rooftop tent and swap the 4×4 experience for 40 winks.
Whilst you may not have seen many roof tent around before, you’ll certainly want to make sure you try this one! If you're a regular camper, you know one of the worst bits is setting up and packing away your tent, especially in the typical British weather or on some noticeably bumpy terrain, but with the ikamper this is all a thing of the past as you’re pitched up with in a few minutes.
As you’re able to keep your bedding, mattress and the ladder all in the roof tent, your home can be easily set up in less than a few minutes and it’s just as easy to pack it away for a quick getaway the following morning. Despite the outdoorsy exterior, don’t look past the luxury included here too. The rooftop tent, is thermally insulated and completely weather proof, meaning those winter escapades are definitely on the cards! we also have power to the tent so you can have lighting and a heater which we supply. Also Butch comes with a hot water shower powered by gas and electric and fits snugly in the back of the Kombi box, so when you are ready drop down the shower curtain which is attached to the side of the vehicle plug in the gas and switch on for that hot shower which will set you up for the day. Put aside any niggling thoughts that camping in anything but a motor home should only be for summer and trust us that our Jeep Cherokee and ikamper tent together provide the perfect combo for up to a five person holiday home on wheels, for your next big adventure.

It is very important that you meet all requirements set out below !!!!

Prior to the commencement of hire the insured shall have:
a) Inspected the driving licence of the hire and any other permitted driver.
b) Satisfied themselves that the hire and any driver
i) are not under the age of 23 or over 75 years of age.
ii) has held a full UK or EU licence for a minimum of 2 years.
iii) has not had their licence suspended for any period within the last three years.
iv) has not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last three years.
v) has no more than two convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction.
vi) has not obtained a BA.DD or UT conviction.

Driver/Drivers we require this information before you take delivery of the vehicle.
2 Utility bills (Gas-Water-Electric)
Copy of driving licence both sides of driver or drivers.
N.I Number on the day. We normally do a DVLA check which requires an N.I. Number but this is not always possible especially if you are not a resident of the UK, so all we ask is that you confirm there is no out standing convictions and you have not been disqualified for drink driving at any time.
