Unfortunately, this van didn't live up to Goboony's usual high standards that we have become accustomed to. I understand that you would have liked pictures of the issues and problems, but by the time we collected the van we were on a tight schedule to catch a ferry and had to spend 4 hours cleaning this particular van in order to make it hygienic enough for us to actually go away in. PLEASE NOTE: We have no complaints about Kane (from South Coast Campervan Hire) whatsoever who was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us and was extremely efficient at his job. The list of complaints are as follows: Having paid a good amount to hire this van through yourselves at Goboony we went on to realise that we could have hired it directly from Kane for £700 for the same week. This would have softened the blow as regards the age and state of cleanliness of the van and we wouldn’t really have had a cause for complaint. On opening one of the cupboards there was a pile of muesli loose floating around. In another cupboard there was a discarded old toothbrush. The under-cabinet door of the front convertible double bed kept falling off which was quite a trip hazard to us all round, especially for myself having had back surgery 6 months ago. The step into the van was very temperamental and we had to assist it with a “kick” to make actually work. The toilet flush did not work in the van. The toilet in general didn’t smell that nice or hygienic either. There was filth in the kitchen area namely that of used tin foil and dirt covered all over the cutlery drawers. We left all of the crockery and utensils at home in the end and had to quickly grab some of our own as theirs was too filthy and dirty to use and some of it was even unwashed. The external side access door to the underneath garage area was taped up and we couldn’t use it from the outside unfortunately. I totally understand that not supplying photographs isn’t very useful but as stated we have had exceptionally high standards of vans from yourselves over the past few years, and this has NEVER been an issue and time constraints didn’t allow us to obtain these.
