Jerry is a fantastic 4-berth VW T4 Hightop Campervan - so easy to just park up, hook up and no pop-up roof to worry about with the internal height being over 6 feet!
Fully equipped with sink, hob, oven, fridge, camping toilet on request, portable DVD player, screen and films also on request, bluetooth speaker, with both hook-up and leisure battery so you can enjoy the home comforts whilst having all the freedom of travelling.

Jerry can be picked up at flexible times of day depending on whether there is another booking returning the same day and the code for the key collection will be provided at the time if no-one is available in person and same for the return of Jerry.
The fuel is Unleaded Petrol and the tank will be full on collection and the counter will be pressed to zero and please fill up after 300 miles maximum and re-zero the counter. The fuel gauge is not accurate on these old VWs so this is a safer way to ensure you don't run out of fuel !! Please return Jerry with a full tank.
Please return the vehicle clean and tidy with everything washed up and put back in place and the water-tank under the sink refilled.
All bedding will be laundered between use and please note that travel towels are provided.
Extras are avbailable on request including an awning, up to 4 folding chairs and an outdoor table, camping loo and loo tent - these all take up space in the van so need to be requested seperately.

We had a lovely time in Jerry and we were very grateful for him this weekend camping trip, as the weather was…changeable!! He fitted my two sons and me well, I would hire again. The kitchen/ work area was very well equipped, fully functional and it could all be accessed with both beds made up the whole time- which was very handy! Jerry is doing well for his 34 years, he isn’t pristine but this was great to be honest, as he’s 90’s retro/cosy and I wasn’t freaking out the whole time we would make a mess, so I could relax. I managed driving him fine, even if my little Swift felt like a go-cart afterwards lol. Dawn was a fab friendly interesting person to meet and flexible with pick up and drop off times. Thanks very much x

Quandt à la communication avec Dawn elle était excellente. Celle-ci est rassurante, à l'écoute et réponds rapidement aux questions où aux éventuels petits soucis rencontrés.

La réception du véhicule et le retour ont été très facile.
Par contre, les lumières ne fonctionnait pas même branché à une prise électrique ,le kit de cuisine n’était pas propre, quand ouvrait le couvercle et tu commençait ton voyage par la vaisselle. La conduite demande beaucoup de jus de bras.J’avais loué ce camping car parce qu’il était équipé de douche et toilettes.La douche fonctionne pas , la toilette clin d’eau.
Nous ne sommes pas allés aussi loin que nous pensions au départ juste pour ces raisons.

The van is suitable for short trips. You need strong arms to steer and a bit of experience then it’s good to go. We slept in 3 and it was fine. Was a bit dusty in my opinion and could have been a little bit cleaner, especially for me because I am allergic to dust. Overall it was a good value 😊

Sorry I forgot to reply - it is a van with manual steering which can be hard work yes! I have upped the cleaning as I appreciate the top roof vent hadn't been included, apologies for that.

Jerry was great! Was everything we could have asked for, a comfy place to eat, sleep and relax on the coast of Devon. No troubles at all. Dawn was a great communicator, and a very friendly host. If you’re thinking of booking Jerry for a trip, do it!
