Keegmeister – 5 berth Ford Transit High Top Conversion

The Keegmeister is a professionally converted Ford Transit high top (medium wheel base) van registered in 2022. The conversion, completed as of February 2025, is to an extremely high standard with a sizeable living space and ample storage. The van has 5 seat belted positions and sleeps 5 people.
The rear of the van is set up as a living space during the day with 2 comfortable bench seats and a good sized table plus TV. To the front of the van, there are 3 belted seat positions in the cab and a further 2 behind the driver. The 2 rear passenger seats also have their own table which can be stowed away when not in use. The drivers seat swivels around so a front living space can be created if desired offering the ultimate in flexible accommodation.
There is a large double bed to the rear which utilises the 2 sets of bench seats and table tops, a double bed in the pop top roof and a single bed to front utilising the double rear passenger seat and drivers seat.
Facilities in the van include a tall 90L fridge/ freezer, microwave, air-conditioning, a central heating system, TV, multiple power sockets and USB points plus hot and cold water with an external shower point. The kitchen is equipped with a Thetford gas oven and grill with dual gas burners and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, crockery and pots/ pans needed to make and serve meals and snacks.
For your entertainment on rainy days or evenings, there is a TV with a fixed external antenna and a router that allows for wifi connections when off grid (limited to 40gb). There are multiple low energy lighting options in the van including spot lights, low level lighting and colour/ dimmable lighting to the rear accommodation. There are a number of 240v sockets and USB points throughout the van, including the pop top, so those using that space can charge devices overnight.
There is a 120w solar panel on the roof of the van which charges the powerful lithium leisure batteries (when the conditions are right) allowing several days of living off grid without needing to hook up to a charging point. There is an external BBQ connection point on the van to allow a gas BBQ to be used from the vans own gas supply. Under the van are 2 large tanks for fresh and waste water each with drain off points.
Above the sliding side door there is an awning rail to attach a large drive away awning, this provides extra sheltered living space without the inconvenience of packing the awing away if you need the van for a trip off site. There is an LED light external to the van to allow ease of use of the awning at night. The awning can be added to the rental if required and takes 10 to 15 minutes to set up.
For safety and to make the driving experience as pleasurable as possible, the van is fitted with a 360 degree CAMOS HD birds eye camera system giving the driver full awareness on the roads and providing assistance when reversing/ manoeuvring.
