I think my first experience with a motorhome was disappointing. On the website it says the motorhome was available from 10, but on the pick up day I had to negotiate with Gary to pick it up at 12. This took 2 hours away from our very short camping trip which had already been meticulously planned. When we got there there was a slight delay as one of the tyres was flat and Gary had to do some fixing of some damaged furniture inside. This was also disappointing as I was expecting to find the motorhome ready to go and already checked prior to us getting there. Lastly, although the motorhome was lovely and modern, it was handed to us in a very dirty condition. I had to clean the bathroom again as it seemed this had been left in a state and it seems there has never been any hovering inside. Dust and crumbs everywhere. Even the cutlery and the dishes we found dirty. I just wished that there had been some actual care towards our booking especially because I was traveling with my 5 year old son and this was his present to experience his first ever camping holiday.

Once the Motorhomes go out on hire the return times an and the care they receive is totally out of our control.
Unfortunately the previous hirers returned the motorhome late in an unclean condition and both the mirrored wardrobe doors had damage to them.
I explained this to the customer and asked if they could collect the motorhome at 1.00pm but they insisted they wanted to collect at 12.00 o’clock then actually turned up at 11.30 even though I had already explained the situation.
This gave us no time whatsoever to prep the vehicle like we normally would.
The damaged wardrobe doors were removed as a priority to make sure there were no safety issues.
I feel this review is very harsh and doesn’t reflect how we do things as anyone can see all our reviews have been 5 star.
Definitely a lesson learned and won’t be happening again!
