This compact campervan is designed to adapt to wherever your journey takes you. Whether you’re cruising through the city, chasing the sun or venturing into the wild, the camper ensures you’re ready for anything.
Our 2018 VW T6 Transporter 4Motion campervan was professionally converted in January 2025; everything is shiny new and built to a very high standard. Safety was our number one priority with the build, so all camper components are M1 certified and crash tested by the manufacturer.
The ‘Swamper’ style camper has rugged looks to suit it’s off grid capabilities, having been fitted with solar, leisure batteries, a 240v mains connection and a built in diesel heater for the colder nights!
The interior is smart, comfortable and safe- having been installed with an M1 certified rear RnR seat/bed arrangement and M1 certified rotating front seat bench, both working with our Joie child seat. (available if required)
There is realistic sleeping arrangement for 2 adults and 2 children, but seating for 5 when on the move thanks to 3 seats in the front and 2 in the rear, all with seatbelts.
Living space:
The front passenger bench seat rotates and can slide into the rear space, allowing 4 people to comfortably sit around the table and dine. The table can be folded out of the way when not in use.
There is internal LED lighting throughout, with both soft lit, dimmable lighting and bright spotlights, so that you can read even when it gets dark. USB charging points throughout van and a 240v socket are also present in the rear. Storage space is available throughout the van.
A diesel heater is fitted and allows the interior to be heated to a comfortable temperature at your convenience without needing the engine to be running. A Co2 alarm is also fitted for your piece of mind.
Like everything in the van, it’s all new. The kitchenette features a Dometic 2 ring gas hob, 50 litre fridge/freezer and sink with a 12 litre fresh water feed. We have added some basic kitchen essentials to cover most needs, including a metal kettle, a large pot and frying pan, plates, bowls, cups, towels and cutlery for your convenience.
There is also a full length Fiamma awning fitted on the side of the van, allowing sun/rain protection for the van and creating a nice outdoor space.
Sleeping arrangements:
The Vulcan rear seat folds down to create a comfortable "rock and roll" bed for 2, it has far more cushioning than most RnR beds, which pays dividends when getting your head down. Blackout blinds are fitted to the windows throughout and a blackout cover is provided for the front windscreen too for total privacy.
The Storm pop top ‘scenic roof’ allows for additional head space and an extra sleeping area for 2 people, with a brand new full width mattress installed up there. The ‘scenic’ element comes from the fact that you can either open the mosquito net side windows for air and views or open the roof fully all the way round, so you can sit up high there with a 180 degree view all around you, which is pretty special when overlooking the Jurassic coastline!
The van is the 150 bhp 4Motion, therefore has all-wheel drive, a more powerful engine and a 6 speed manual gearbox, making it very safe, stable and easy to drive vehicle in all weather conditions. The seats are incredibly comfortable throughout, with the driver getting a captain’s seat to make longer drives a breeze. It also has rear parking sensors, ice cold air conditioning, cruise control, USB charging points throughout, Bluetooth phone calling and music streaming.
Insurance is provided through GoBoony and is included in the cost of this hire. Please read our sensible van rules for the basic requirements, in order to avoid any issues once booked. We want you to have a fantastic time and enjoy the van for your own memories!
A full inventory and guide sheet with useful instructions and user videos will be shared with you once a booking is confirmed. ‘How to’ guide will also be present in the vehicle on key features of the vehicle to make your life easier.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
The vehicle will have a full tank of diesel when you collect, it must be returned full.
Please be aware that if not returned with a full tank - a £2 per litre charge will be deducted from the security deposit.
Driver requirements: Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 70 years, having held driving license for at least 3 years.
Up to 7 days before travel, please provide a copy of Driver’s License (front and back) for all drivers, along with your DVLA check code. This enables us to check points and endorsements. Check code available on DVLA website.
Please also provide a utility bill dated within 3 months of hire that matches the name/address on the driver’s license. This is a requirement of the insurance company.
Collection times: We are pretty flexible and happy to work with you. We can even pick you up from the local airport, train station or bus station for a small charge, if it makes your life easier and allows you to start your holiday earlier! – see below.
