Hi Everyone. We are based in Angus which is bordered on the north and east by Forfar and on the SW and NW by Glamis - the childhood home of the late Queen Mother and 5 miles from us is the quaint "Wee Red Toon (town) of Kirriemuir, home of the famous J.M Barrie who wrote Peter Pan.
We are pleased to list our Elnagh Marlin 66G motorhome for hire. It has 4 belted seats and two double fixed beds - one to the rear, reach by two steps and one over the cab which is accessed by a ladder (usually stored away in the garage when not required). The beds have the added comfort of deluxe memory foam mattress toppers which come with protective covers. Bedding (double duvets, sheets, pillows with protective covers and pillow cases) is all included. There are three USB ports in the motorhome, one in the corner of the rear bedroom area and two in the front cab area.
The bathroom has a flushing toilet, wash hand basin, storage cabinet and shower with a crisp, white shower curtain. (Please bring own towels as these are not provided).
The compact kitchen is functional with 3 ring gas burners and a small Smev oven/grill. All cooking utensils are provided as is crockery and glassware. (Please bring own tea towels for drying dishes. These are not provided).
There is an under counter fridge with a good sized freezer compartment.
The table can be extended and both front seats rotate for dining and recreational purposes.
All windows have blinds and fly screens and there are thermal blanket screens for the front windscreen and two front side windows for night time. There are carpets in the motorhome which are removeable.
There is gas central heating for airier nights and LED interior lighting.
A huge plus for this motorhome is that it benefits from a very large garage (accessible from both sides) which has additional security locks. It offers substantial storage space for bikes and e-bikes, sports and camping equipment etc., There is also an external bike rack which holds up to 3 bikes.
An outdoor table and four chairs are stored in the garage for your enjoyment of the outdoors along with a Fiamma wind-out awning (with LED awning light), which provides welcome shade from strong sunlight and light rain. A selection of games (cards, dominos & Scrabble) plus some books and a TV are also available for your enjoyment.
There will be a full 11 Kg bottle of gas on departure.
This motorhome can be driven on a standard UK license and is deep cleaned after every use.
A complimentary welcome basket on departure includes a bottle of wine, fresh bread and fruit as well as tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits to help get you on your way. Condiments of salt, pepper & vinegar are also included.
We have travelled extensively throughout Scotland with our motorhome, going off-grid too (lengthened by the addition of a spare toilet cassette) and have always been reluctant to come home! We'd like to think that you too could share the same enjoyable experience that we have.
