- Doris will be presented to you with a full tank of diesel, please return her with full tank of diesel, if not there will be a £20 surcharge in addition to the cost of top up
- Doris will be presented to you fully cleaned, so please return her in same condition, if not there will be a £50 surcharge and cleaning cost

- Any damages will be deducted from security
- If there is ANY sort of breakdown, eg puncture etc , you MUST NOT attempt to sort this yourself, or let anyone other than breakdown recovery company attempt to fix any issue. This will affect the insurance of your hire, this is what the breakdown cover is for , plus it keeps everything safe for continued and future travel.

We had the most amazing adventure in Doris!
She’s the perfect van for exploring Scotland, easy to drive and well equipped with all that you need.
Julie was lovely and excellent at communicating before, during and after our trip.
The handovers were smooth and Julie even dropped us off at the station at the end of our trip which was very kind.
We will absolutely be back again soon for another holiday in Doris!

Had a fantastic trip (babymoon) in Scotland!
Delivery of the van was well organised and prepared. Had a run-through at a parking lot and we drove of easily (drive on the left, look to the right…).
The van had everything we needed, a working fridge (and freezer!), fully equipped kitchen, chairs and table (inside and outside). The van doesn’t have a grey water tank, so no soap/detergent can be used but there is a sink with running water which comes in handy. The bed is a “rock and roll bed” which we used for the first time, it’s comfortabel though a bit on the harder side. We fit snuggly as two everage sized Dutchies.
We travelled from Glasgow to the Cairngorms/Glenmore, from there to Inverness and then proceeded to Isle of Skye for a few days. From Skye past Eilean Donan Castle, Glen Shiel to Glen Nevis and Glen Coe, before returning to Glasgow. Fantastic trip! Will be returning to Scotland!

Charlie and I had the most fantastic trip to Mull with Doris. Julie was so helpful and reassuring with all our questions before the trip and did everything she could to give us the best holiday. Doris is truly loved and cared for, and Julie cares for her hirers too, going above and beyond. I took all my "emergency extras" but there was really no need - everything was provided, down to an emergency sewing kit, washing line, and roll of ever-handy gaffer tape. We had amazing sunny and warm weather so we only used the heating once, but it was great to warm up quickly when we needed to. Doris is a pleasure to drive, fits neatly in to the passing places on single-track roads, and can hold her own on the motorway too. She is charming and distinctive, and we are looking forward to hiring her again for a return trip in Spring to see the puffins. Thank you Julie and Doris for our little Island adventure!

Julie & Doris looked after us very well throughout our trip. Doris took us to Isle of skye and made it an experience to remember. Julie has thought of everything with all the bells and whistles provided in Doris, whether it be wild camping or in a campsite. Julie’s communication was great and she was very attentive to all our needs, Doris is a great compact camper that’s easy to drive and quick to pitch, ideal for exploration and adventure with everything we needed. Can’t recommend Julie and her lovely Camper Doris enough.

Tim and I had a wonderful holiday in Scotland, and traveling around in a campervan was definitely the best way to experience it. We were new to the whole experience, but we were definitely in safe hands. We decided to hire Doris (the campervan) from Julie, and throughout the trip, she was very quick to respond, kind, and helpful. She provided us with lots of Scottish treats, including my favorite, Scottish potato cakes! If we ever needed help, she was always ready to answer via call or text. A super host! If we ever need a campervan in Scotland again, we'll know who to call. Thank you for everything, Julie! Much love! X

Many thanks for the smooth rental of Doris.
We spent 4 great days in Scotland in this Mercedes Beach Van. It is well equipped for 4 people. There were three of us so we slept very comfortably in it. Completely clean and fresh bed linen and including the necessary crockery and kitchen utensils. Overall, everything was in top condition.
The handover and return was very uncomplicated. Julie helped us with every difficulty. Knowing that we had someone trustworthy on our side, made the vacation even more relaxed.

We had a brilliant time exploring just some of what Scotland has to offer. Doris was perfect for our trip and Julie, was so kind and communicative before and throughout our travels. The van itself is so easy to maneuver and drive, it also has everything you could need for both campsite comfort and wild camping opportunities.
