Bonne expérience dans l'ensemble grâce aux magnifiques paysages écossais. Attention toutefois si votre choix se porte sur Lucille. En effet ce van commence à montrer des signes de faiblesse tels qu'un moteur difficile à démarrer, fort bruit de métallique au niveau d'une roue en virage ou encore une poignée de porte qui reste sortie, provoquant son ouverture au premier virage si vous ne vous en êtes pas aperçu. En bref je déconseille ce van pour une première expérience.
RÉPONSE DU PROPRIÉTAIRE
Hervé et sa compagne n'ont pas tenu compte des instructions lors de la remise de la camionnette, ce qui a nécessité plusieurs rappels à l'ordre. Bien qu'ils aient eu accès à des instructions électroniques et sur papier, il semble qu'ils n'aient consulté ni les unes ni les autres. Lucille, la camionnette, est un modèle de 2006 dont le moteur a été remplacé en 2017 et qui est connu pour être capricieux le matin. J'ai fait une démonstration du processus de démarrage et j'ai expliqué ce problème lors de la remise du véhicule.
Hervé a signalé que le moteur était mort et qu'il n'y avait pas d'huile le premier matin, luttant pour faire fonctionner son appareil photo afin de prendre une photo de la jauge d'huile. L'huile de la camionnette avait été vérifiée avant le départ et elle a bien démarré après avoir suivi la procédure décrite. Aucun problème de bruit métallique n'a été constaté, ce qui est conforme aux embauches suivantes.
J'ai explicitement déconseillé à Hervé et à sa compagne de tirer fortement sur les poignées en raison de l'âge de la camionnette, en insistant sur l'importance de procéder à une double vérification avant de prendre la route.
Je donne la priorité à la sécurité de mes clients et j'inspecte méticuleusement tous les aspects du van avant chaque location, y compris les pneus, la pression, les fluides et les lumières.

We had an issue with a tyre but Craig was very responsive and supported us through to the whole process.

Craig is nice, friendly and communicative before and during the trip to make all going well.
Lucille is a nice van. On the road it is sometimes tricky with the narrow roads and the holes, but that is Scotland !

Alquilar una furgo para viajar por escocia es la mejor de las opciones.
La furgo de Craig está muy bien:
- pequenita (la carreteras de escocia son muy estrechas)
- ideal para 2
- está bien equipada y Craig nos dejo un kit con cosas muy utiles tipo : sal, pimienta, producto para limpiar los platos, bolsa de basura...
- la cama es comoda y el nordico calentito.

Van vieillissant mais parfait pour une première aventure ! Tout est très bien pensé à l'intérieur ce qui rend la prise en main facile. Sa petite taille pour un van, est un gros avantage sur les routes sinueuses du nord de l'Écosse.
Craig est un propriétaire extrêmement réactif et prêt à aider dés qu'il le peut.

Couldn't have asked for a better person to rent a campervan from than Craig! He is a true gent and made everything so easy for my partner and I. Handover was very easy and he hides nothing from you. He was very busy at the time we picked up Lucille but his first priority was making sure my partner and I were comfortable with her condition before driving away. He took the time to explain everything and gave us the opportunity to point things out we weren't sure about.
We picked up the van from Glasgow and took it to Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Inverness, the Cairngorms National Park and Perth with plenty of detours and stopovers along the way. Craig also gave us some very good recommendations (things to do, places to stay) which helped us with our trip. Lucille was very nice to drive for me as someone who only drives a small 1-litre car regularly and was very happy we picked her.
Lucille is Craig's baby but that shouldn't put you off renting her because he's so understanding and friendly, we really felt what he wanted most was for us to enjoy our time with Lucille. She is snug but she comes with everything you need for an epic journey and Craig makes sure of that, you can tell he's passionate about what he does. The bed and table are very easy to setup and stow away and the stove helped us make some great meals.
Massive thank you to Craig for helping make our trip an awesome and unforgettable one!

We had an amazing experience travelling with Lucille. I personally found her a very nice van to drive, and we had everything we needed to live off the grid for a week. Craig was an amazing host, very helpful and trustworthy. Can't recommend Lucille more :)
