Warning think twice before hiring from here!! It’s not Anna you will deal with on arrival and departure it’s her unstable partner Patryk. Collection went ok and things appeared to be friendly, a few issues with the van, one main blind wouldn’t close, grey water wouldn’t close so ended up running all over the floor during the week which isn’t a good look, something strange happening with the right indicators so you were never sure if other road users new what you were doing. It was during handover that things went south. I messaged Patryk around 8am out of courtesy to say we will be dropping van off around 9:30an which is there standard 9/11am drop off as advertised to be told he was taking his son to football so we would have to wait until around 10:20am, not ideal when you have a 7 hour journey home. We arrived around 9:50am after passing some time, emptied the van into our car and I knocked the door to be treated by Anna who told me drop of was at 11am, I politely disagreed, said the terms were 9/11am I wasn’t trying to be akward but if we brought the van back 1 or 2 hours late they wouldn’t be happy so could she please get the form and walk round the vehicle as all was in order and I needed to get home as I had somewhere I needed to be that evening. She politely said give me 2mins and I will get the form. 1min later no Anna but Patryk calls me shouting down the phone that if I hired from anywhere I would have to wait, I should have told him the day before etc (not in there terms) so I replied if that’s the case do you not think out of courtesy you should have messaged me to say you were not going to be there at the advertised time to which he replied “I don’t need to tell you my plans” and cut the call off. 10mins later he comes tearing down the road, pulls up outside his house, gets the for and says”keys” to which I reply “sorry” he says “I need keys” which I give home. He then paces around the van before stopping at the front, at this point I say to him I’m just trying to have a conversation but you put the phone down pal to which he replies yes I did. He then walks to the drivers door were I tell him he’s being pathetic we’re adults, grown men and should be able to have a conversation. He says nothing, opens the drivers door, takes the large metal steering look out of the door pocket and paces up the driveway mumbling something in polish I didn’t understand. He then throws the steering lock on the driveway walks back to the front of the car and starts raging at me getting in my face shouting about how it’s my fault I should have called him the day before etc. He then walks to the side entrance of the van and I follow for him then to get very close in my face trying to stare and intimidate me to the point I very nearly reacted but thankfully for both our sakes he moved on into the van where he then turned again shouting and going on. At this point I told him I’m not interested in arguing with him I need to go so just get the form done. He eventually ticked everything off while he was literally shaking with anger then slammed it on the cooker and said”sign”. I signed the form asked him are we done to which he replied “yeh we’re done” so I walked back to the car where my wife and son where witnessing this whole spectacle. We sat there for 5mins sorting the sat nave etc for journey home watching him tear off down the road in his car turn around fly back up the street and nearly reverse into his neighbours car. Honestly if I could describe him in one word it would be Clown! I took a screen shot of there house rules while outside the house and have since noticed that between midday Saturday and Monday they have updated and added drop off criteria I assume as some form of defence incase I left a bad review. It states drop off wait time 30mins to 1 hour and you need to notify 24hrs in advance of drop off time. I have attached both documents. They also have a ring doorbell which I’m more than happy for them to post the whole event if they feel necessary as it will only show one aggressor and that’s not me. I’ve rented motorhomes in the past and every owner has been genuinely interested in how your trip was, how the van was and what you got up to but not here! I held off leaving a review as I hoped after throwing his toys out the pram he may have realised he acted like a complete twat and would have messaged to apologise. We all have bad weeks/days and I genuinely would have accepted that and would not be writing this. Based on the fact the rules were updated after we left he has no argument and the video footage will clarify everything I have said but I doubt that will surface. We had an amazing trip around the highlands but unfortunately my long lasting memory of the trip is now this idiot! August 2025
Response from Anna What a story you wrote here. You had absolutely no right to knock on my door and speak to my partner—while she was holding our 2-year-old—demanding that she come outside to return the motorhome. I had already told you to wait 50 minutes until I returned, which is a perfectly reasonable request. Instead, you chose to act impatiently and disrespectfully toward my partner, and you refused to listen when I explained the situation. From the beginning, I make it clear to every customer that they should confirm their intended drop-off time the day before, so I can ensure I’m available. You ignored this and only sent a text at 8:40 AM saying you’d arrive at 9:30 AM. Then you expected me to be on standby for four hours, between 7 AM and 11 AM, without any prior notice. Your behavior was unacceptable and disrespectful. If this is how you treat people, you should seriously reconsider hiring a motorhome from anyone in the future.
