Hey, I'm Barry!

My wife and I live in beautiful North Wales and keep ponies here for our grandchildren. I left the Royal Navy in 1996 having been an engineer on submarines. We bought our campervan from new and have had some wonderful adventures in it including going round France. We love mostly to free camp as the van is self sufficient with its own shower, cooker etc. We have a Dachshund and two cocker spaniels which keep us busy.

Can’t speak highly enough of the experience we have had this weekend with Barry & his van. From the thorough induction (backed up with an illustrated idiots guide) through the trip (where we realised everything had been thought of to get the best out of the space) to returning the vehicle (Llyn peninsula and back for a very reasonable £45 fuel!!) to a gentleman who was ‘just pleased we’d had a nice weekend’ it’s been a ball. Couldn’t have been better, in all aspects. Firstly the service Barry provides is that which you would expect from a camper van hiring company not of an independent! Barry has thought of all details to make the handover / return and use of the vehicle seamless. As for the van, it ticks all the boxes and more. We did not have a single issue! Barry was great at explaining all the info we needed on how to use the camper also was very thorough and patient. The camper was pretty straightforward to use once we got the hang of it, the passenger and driving seats are really comfortable as was the bed, and great to have all the storage underneath. Its an absolute dream to drive especially with the cruise control on motorways! July 2023

Barry was great to deal with, excellent communication, all issues were dealt with promptly and generally very helpful. The van was well maintained. Comfy bed. Everything is provided with the van, just turn up with a duvet and you’re good to go. We would definitely recommend August 2022
