Hey, I'm Alex!

We are Alex and Lizi, a British-Brazilian couple who have been living in Barcelona for a combined 20+ years and who have completely fallen in love with our adoptive Catalonia! We’re outdoorsy types and very quickly discovered that we share a passion for camping and road trips.

We purchased our Volkswagen campervan in 2019 to enable us to explore Catalonia and Spain, and since early-2022 we have been sharing our little house-on-wheels with careful, responsible people who are as passionate about adventure and discovery as we are.

If you’re planning a campervan road trip, either as #vanlife newbies or experienced veterans, then we’d love to hear from you!

Somos Alex y Lizy, una pareja británico-brasileña que vive en Barcelona desde hace más de 20 años y que se ha enamorado por completo de todos los atractivos que ofrece nuestra Cataluña. Nos gustan las actividades al aire libre y pronto descubrimos que compartimos la pasión por el camping y las rutas en carretera.

Adquirimos nuestra camper Volkswagen en 2019 para permitirnos explorar Cataluña y España, y desde principios de 2022 compartimos nuestra casita en ruedas con personas responsables y cuidadosas que sienten la misma pasión por la aventura y el descubrimiento como nosotros.

Si estáis planeando un road trip en camper, ya sea como principiante de #vanlife o habitual experimentado, ¡nos encantaría saber de vosotros!

Alex and Lizzie were fantastic to deal with. The pre-delivery information emailed to us answered all our questions and some. The pick-up was easy; we had a full tour of the vehicle and the operation of the gadgets; there was a written inventory, which made the return process easy for us, everything worked on the van flawlessly, and we were impressed with the driver assistance package of the VW. The equipment provided with the van is vast, and you want for nothing. We toured for 10 weeks and enjoyed everything. Our fuel consumption was 9.9l/100k, very impressive. We will be back next year and will most certainly be contacting Alex and Lizzie. Thanks guys for the awesome holiday van. June 2023

De camper was werkelijk perfect; in heel goede staat en voorzien van alle dingen die je maar nodig hebt. Toiletpapier, kruiden, olijfolie en zelfs aan sfeerverlichting is gedacht! De camper rijdt heerlijk en door het formaat kun je overal terecht; ook in de stad. Alex en Liz zijn zeer attent. Reageren direct op vragen en zijn supervriendelijk. Wij doen het volgend jaar weer!!!! October 2022

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana girando la costa brava con il van di Alex e Lizi. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti per l’ottimo stato in cui ci è stato consegnato il van, pulitissimo, organizzatissimo e dotato di tutti i confort. Alex e Lizi sono stati super disponibili e gentili, non solo quando li abbiamo contattati per verificare la disponibilità del van, ma anche quando abbiamo dovuto ritirarlo e riconsegnarlo. Assolutamente impeccabili. Insomma se intendete girare un po’ la Spagna partendo da Barcellona non posso che consigliarvi di contattarli. August 2022

Alex y Lizi son un encanto, te ayudan en cualquier situación que estés, aún estando en el viaje. La autocaravana esta muy cuidada, limpia, bien equipada y es fácil de conducir. August 2022
