I’m 60 years old and live with my partner Stephen and our lab max.
We absolutely love our camper van named Salty sea dog.
Over the last two years we have had many trips around the Uk , I love the lakes, especially the western side , my favourite is Ravenglass . It’s just beautiful!
We’re planning to travel around Europe too. The whole experience, just being able to stop & make a coffee whilst enjoy the scenery, playing my chilled playlist etc is wonderful. I enjoy cooking and it’s amazing what you can make with a little imagination. My favourite dish is pot chicken and chorizo. I’m an avid book reader so always take my kindle. Sometimes we enjoy a dvd on a nice cosy evening. We had fun with the inflatable kayak on our last trip, there was no one else in the water it was sureal. Just enjoy!

We had an epic time completing the NC500 around Scotland in Salty and the camper was very much at the heart of it all. The van is very well kitted out, with everything you'd ever need for your trip and is obviously very well looked after. The vendors were lovely. Very attentive and generous with their time and patience. Making sure we knew how everything worked both with the van and on the 'admin' side of the transaction. We would recommend Jude, Stephen and Salty to anyone if you're planning an unforgettable adventure! June 2025

Salty was a great camper van and met our needs totally. Jude was very easy to deal with, flexible with pick up and return times and also let us view the van a couple of weeks in advance. Collection was a breeze, the paperwork done with the minimum of fuss as was the return. Highly recommended! Les and Joy. August 2024

We had an absolutely brilliant holiday in Salty Sea Dog! The van was very well equipped and the lovely personal touches made it all the more special. Jude and Stephen were flexible and very easy to get in touch with when we needed help with anything. This was especially appreciated since it was our first ever camper van trip. We took Salty for a trip around the lakes and had a wonderful time. The van is practical for small country roads and has very useable cooking utilities, a comfortable bed and heating. The owners are hospitable and flexible. June 2024

Jude and Stephen are the loveliest couple. Nothing was too much trouble and they were only a message or call away if we needed anything. We even popped over to visit the van before booking to make sure it suited our needs. They have invested quite heavily in their van to make it a comfortable stay for guests (the solar panels are fantastic for off grid camping!). Lots of lovely little touches to make our stay enjoyable too. If you are thinking of hiring a campervan I can't recommend Salty or Stephen and Jude more. August 2023
