We had a great time and felt very relaxed in Sandy the Sahara. We found almost everything easy to use although the heating did challenge us a bit even with Andrew’s easy instructions! There was plenty of space for the two of us and having a separate dining area up front was great as we were able to create a’fixed’ bed in the back. Thoroughly recommend. September 2021

Great Cornwall holiday in Sandy "The Sahara", which is basically the campervan of a fan of campervans. Andrew was fantastic at giving us the full details of the van at the beginning of our trip. The van has all the little details and equipments that you want in a van! We had a minor technical incident that was perfectly handled by RAC and through constant communications with Andrew. We both handled the situation like responsible adults and that made the adventure even more enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our too short holidays and will definitely be back for more. Thank you! Just returned from a brilliant 4 days in Andrew’s Peugeot Boxer van – ‘Sandy the Sahara’. Andrew and family were totally lovely and gave us a full (and Covid safe) briefing on how the van worked on pick-up. ‘Sandy’ is a fully equipped and obviously very much loved van and was immaculately turned out. Although I was a little apprehensive of driving a 6m+ van with a tow bar mounted Thule bike rack, I needn’t have worried. Within a few miles it all felt very normal – drives brilliantly and with the rear view camera, huge wing mirrors, cruise control, reversing camera and parking sensors was great on the motorways as well as in Dorset lanes, in car parks and on site. As the early summer English weather was truly appalling, we did spend a lot of time in the van. We used all the facilities: fridge, cooker, heating, hot water, shower, loo, both on mains hook-up and on LPG / leisure battery and it all worked flawlessly. Even tried out the canopy/awning on the one evening the sun appeared! So thanks Andrew and family (and Sandy) for an amazing experience. May 2021

We had a fantastic holiday in Andrew's lovely camper van. It was the first time he had rented out his new van and our first time in a camper van! I didn't know who was more nervous! A whistle stop tour of the van and how to use it went some way to alleviating our anxiety but there was still so much to learn. We managed - and enjoyed not only our holiday experiences but also living in the van! Andrew was a delight to deal with and made the whole rental experience a pleasure. If we were to do this again I would not hesitate to hire his van! October 2020
