We have a wealth of experience, from camping to motor homing, and we love to share our experiences and hear your stories. We are based close to the M1 motorway near chesterfield, with easy access to the local attractions, the Derbyshire countryside, Peak District and the Yorkshire dales. Being based in the Midlands gives you a significant advantage in planning your vacation to all parts of the UK should you wish to stay longer and explore further. Our Motorhomes and Campervan are all the latest models offering the highest specifications. The motorhomes sleep up to 6 people, and the campervan sleeps up to 4. They have all the equipment and luxury you would expect included in the price.
We love staying in our home from home, enjoying staying a different places and meeting new people. We especially like to go rural villages that have lovely scenery and of course a cosy local pub!
I usually take a couple prepped meals, like lasagne or Fajitas, so I can just reheat for convenience.
I always take the ingredients for a cooked breakfast as it starts the day off nicely!
Settling down at night time I love a hot chocolate and a good book!
In the summer we love to sit outside and relax and really just use the bbq for meals unless we go out of course.
It’s hard to choose a favourite destination because we love every we have been but if I had to choose my top 3 then I would say St Ives
Lake District and Wales.
Places we want to go to, we’ll there are so many in the Uk, so I guess we will just start at the bottom and work our way up!!
We have a kayak and paddle which are great fun, so being near water is a must.
They are available for guests to hire, so you can enjoy them too!
We also like to go on day trips, it’s great at Rother valley, you can park the motor home close to the grassed area, set up your chairs and stay there into the early evening, it’s near the lake so you can enjoy the water based activities while you are there.
There is a restaurant with lots of outdoor seating a bar!
