Hi,

We are Sam and Hanne and recently became a traveling family. We have always traveled a lot, with campervan, but also with the kite and in our opinion nothing beats the freedom that traveling with your accommodation on wheels offers.

Our favorite destinations are the Alps on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Hanne lived in Switzerland for 6 years and regularly went to the mountains to hike, ski, visit lakes and waterfalls and just disappear into nature. One of our first trips together was a flight to Lisbon in 2020, without a plan, where we rented a van to discover different surf spots along the coast.

That sparked the idea to get started ourselves and convert a van with everything we needed for our perfect trip. And then half-converted Huberta came into our lives, around the same time as our son. We continued working on the layout and plumbing, outsourced the electrical work and are super happy with the result, although it will probably always remain a work-in-progress in our minds.

We love to meet like-minded people and other campervan travel enthusiasts, which is one of the reasons why we would like to share Huberta on this platform.
