We love the peaceful natural spots around us. We therefore prepare our trips well. But because we've only been "retired" for a year, we haven't visited many places yet. With our friends, we went camping at the fishing pond in beautiful Dendermonde. We visited the De Maey nature reserve, a surprisingly quiet area with a birdwatching wall and Soay sheep. There's also a lovely camping spot in quiet Landen, where you can overlook the De Beemden recreation area. It's the ideal place for walking and enjoying nature. In August, we went camping at Lake Veere, and what a wonderful week it was. Highly recommended for enjoying the peace, the water, and the friendliness of the people.
