We had an amazing 7-day trip through Scotland with Robert’s campervan, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were a group of four adults, and the van was absolutely perfect for our needs. Pick-up and drop-off were super smooth as Robert gave us clear instructions on all the key features and was very responsive through the rental platform, always quick to answer any questions we had. The campervan itself was fantastic. It came with a lots of thoughtful features that made our journey really comfortable and stress-free. The built-in kitchen was a lifesaver, especially when the midges made it hard to cook outside! We’ve driven similar campervans before in Iceland and Scotland, but this one gave us by far the best experience. It was also incredibly easy to drive, even on Scotland’s narrower roads. We had a wonderful time in this VW campervan, despite the weather not being on our side! The van was in excellent condition with very low mileage – it drove like new and was as easy to handle as a car. Although slightly longer, it was much much easier to manage than the larger vans I've hired in the past. The pop-top was simple to use and made a big difference – no worries about height restrictions during the day, but still gave us full standing room every time we stopped. The handover and return were friendly. Recommend and would hire again July 2025

This was our first experience traveling in a campervan, and it was a great success. The van is perfect, very well equipped and comfortable. Claire, Robert’s wife, gave us a warm welcome and explained everything about how to use the van and what we could do with it. The van was very clean, looked almost new, and allowed us to enjoy an amazing road trip through Scotland. It was perfectly suited for this kind of adventure, very practical, like taking a little home with us. Robert is very kind and thoughtful, and he helped us during the trip whenever we had a question. Our first time in a VW camper. Robert’s partner was fantastic at handover. Explaining everything we needed to know about how the camper works. Included was freshly laundered bedding & fluffy white towels & a throw for if it was cold sitting with the door open in the evening. Everything we needed was supplied. All we needed to take was our food. Van drove beautifully down to the Lake District & back on cruise control & the auto gearbox was a joy! The night heater was a godsend as typical Lake District weather prevailed. Would certainly consider renting from Robert & Clare again in the future. June 2025

We had a brilliant experience hiring a camper van from Robert. He and his partner were so helpful and accommodating from the start - really friendly and made everything super easy. The van was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for our trip around Scotland. It was perfect for exploring, like a little home on wheels.
