Glastonbury Festival is the best-known festival in the UK and for good reason! The festival has taken place on Michael Eavis’ farm in Pilton, Somerset since 1970. The first festival had 1500 attendees, cost only £1 and had 5 acts including Marc Bolan. Since then, Glastonbury has grown enormously, with some of the best names in music playing its many stages and drawing over 200,000 attendees annually! There is not just music, but comedy, dance, theatre and much, much more.
 

Glastonbury Campervan Tickets 
 

Glastonbury tickets sell out really quickly, so if you’d like to experience what makes this festival so special, it’s important to be prepared. The festival takes place at the end of June, and tickets go on sale in the autumn of the year before. There are motorhome and campervan pitches available at Glastonbury, for which you need an additional campervan ticket. Glastonbury campervan tickets go on sale separately, shortly after the admission ticket sale. This year, general admission tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 will go on sale at 9 AM GMT on Sunday the 17th of November 2024 and can be purchased only on the official Glastonbury site. 

Please be aware that anyone over the age of 13 needs to have their own valid registration number to purchase any festival ticket and attend the festival. Online registration is free of charge, but you will need to provide basic contact details and upload a passport-style photo. Registration closes at 5 PM GMT on Monday the 11th of November 2024, so if you're not yet registered make sure to do so soon. Check your existing registration here or submit a new registration here.

How do I get there?

Driving to Glastonbury Festival shouldn't be difficult given the ideal location. 

From south London, take M3 - A303 - A37
From Swindon take M4 - A350 - A361
From the Midlands take M40 - A34 - A303 - A37
From the North East take A1/M1 - M25 - M3 - A303 - A37 
From the North West take M6- M5 - A39 - A361
From Wales take M4 - M5 - A39

If you're travelling by train, head to Castle Cary station and then make use of the free shuttle bus to the festival site. If you're travelling by coach, you can utilise the official coach travel partner: National Express.
