VW Grand California from 2021

The Grand California is the more complete California. 6 meters long, with toilet and shower, 4 sleeping places: 2 for adults and 2 for children.
The camper drives like a real Volkswagen, smoothly without much noise with adaptive cruise control, automatic transmission with 177 hp.

In the living area you will find a seating area for four people, a kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, two-burner gas stove and a sink. The kitchen is also fully equipped for four people with crockery, cutlery, cooking pots, etc...

In the bathroom you will find a Thetford toilet, sink and shower. The heating works on both gas and electricity (220V via shore power) and is easy to operate via a central touchscreen next to the sofa. In the summer you can shower outside via an extra connection at the rear of the camper. There is a water tank with a capacity of 110 l on board.

At the back of the kitchen and the shower is the transverse bed for two adults, with reading lights and USB sockets. Above the living space you can easily create two additional sleeping places by pulling out the bed. This bed with slatted base is suitable for two children or one adult. The bed is equipped with a net (fall protection) and a foldable ladder. Under the large rear bed you will find plenty of storage space for luggage. You can fold up this bed for easy access to the built-in cupboards, electricity and gas supplies and storage space.

There are dimmable LED reading lights and dimmable central lighting throughout the van. You can easily charge smartphones or other devices using the various USB plugs. When you are connected to shore power, you can also use the 220V sockets. You can store all your belongings in the many handy storage compartments.

In the summer you can sit outside and use the wide sun canopy and the folding table and chairs. Cooling in the car is possible via two large skylights that you can open. All windows have blackout and mosquito netting; The large opening of the sliding door can also be closed in this way.

The living battery is charged via the socket for connecting shore power, or via the engine while driving.
