Transi – Ford Transit Campervan

Hello, our campervan offers everything two people need for a trip. We've been traveling with it full-time for over a year. Everything is self-constructed and has its own unique charm. The van doesn't have a campervan feel; instead, it offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere.

Bed: At 2m x 1.60m, the bed is very large for a camper. Tall people won't have a problem here. It's a cold foam mattress with a slatted frame underneath. When folded down, the bed forms a couch with a backrest. There's a reading light with a USB port on each side. Two small windows are also located in the head area, which provide plenty of fresh air. There's also a skylight with a fan directly above the bed.

We are also happy to provide bed linen and towels. We charge an additional fee of €10 per person for bed linen and two towels.

Dining table: At the end of the bed is the dining table and two stools for comfortable seating. The table and chairs are only accessible when the bed is in couch position.
There is storage space in the stools.

Cargo space: Under the bed is a large cargo space with a pull-out drawer and boxes. There's plenty of room for a lot of luggage.

Power: The 140AH battery makes for a truly comfortable living experience. In good weather, you can stay self-sufficient indefinitely. 200W solar panels on the roof ensure this. If you park in the shade, there are 200W foldable modules with 6m of cable.
There are several USB ports and 230V outlets (inverter max. 300W). A shore power connection with a 30m cable is available. The battery is also charged via the alternator while driving.

Heating: An Autoterm 2D heater is installed, which keeps the camper warm. In subzero temperatures, the camper heats up quickly and easily maintains the temperature. All walls are insulated, and all windows are insulated to help with both heat and cold (including the driver's cab).

Kitchen: There is a normal household sink with drainer.
The faucet works like a normal one at home, with no separate knob for the pump. There's an outdoor shower, which is also controlled by the faucet.
The 70L compressor refrigerator has a small ice compartment. The waste water and fresh water tanks are also located in the kitchen unit. There's a passage to the front in the middle, and the worktop folds down easily.
The stove is a Dometic gas stove with three burners. Below it are two drawers for cutlery and a cupboard for supplies.
There are real tiles behind the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery, a wooden spoon, a set of dishes, a pot, and a pan.

Outside the camper: On the side of the sliding door, there's a 350cm awning that provides shade in sunny weather and keeps the area in front of the camper dry in rainy weather. At the rear, there's a bike rack for two bikes. Optionally, there's also the option to attach an aluminum box, if you'd prefer.
Equipment: In the cargo area, there's a dining table for four with adjustable legs, as well as a small side table for a coffee, for example. There are also two Frontrunner Expander chairs and an Outwell outdoor couch.
In total, there's seating for four people. There's a small axe for making a fire, and a hammock for maximum relaxation. There are two ramps that allow you to stand upright even on uneven terrain.
About the base vehicle: The Transit is great to drive and offers a good turning circle for a van. It fits in standard car parking spaces. Both seats are fully adjustable and comfortable. The cab features a new JBL sound system and an AUX port with a cable for all types of cell phones. With its 125 hp and turbo, you can climb any mountain pass, and overtaking on country roads is no problem either. The tires are all-weather with extra tread (Nexen All Season).

Restroom: There is a Boxio composting toilet available upon request. A one-time fee of €10 is charged for the use of the toilet and the subsequent cleaning.

A surfboard holder is available and surfboards can also be rented for an additional charge.
