Baksteen – Nice, compact Fiat Ducato from 1986

A wonderful campervan for two people. It's almost 40 years old, has a lot of charm, and attracts a lot of attention from enthusiasts. It's the perfect size; not too big, not too small. This is especially helpful if you're not used to driving a (large) van. The interior is original and has a slightly retro look and feel.

The kitchenette in the back is incredibly convenient; you can cook standing up with the doors open. The refrigerator and stove both run on gas, and I always make sure there's a full gas bottle. We'll charge for heavy use.

The campervan has a very practical layout with a spacious seating area. Four people can easily dine here or play rummikub. At the end of the day, simply lower the table and enjoy a good night's sleep in the 140x190 cm bed. A duvet (200x200 cm) and pillows are provided. Clean bed linens can be rented for €15 upon request.

Last year, a new gearbox was installed, and the bus went up a gear: from 4th to 5th. This makes the bus quieter and more fuel-efficient (approximately 12 mpg). Other recent maintenance: new timing belt, brakes, brake linings, brake lines, clutch plate, new rear tires, and a starter battery. There's also a courtesy battery, so charging your phone is no problem.

I've had the van for over four years now and have put a lot of love into it since then. It makes it feel safe and enjoyable to go out with such a classic van ;-)

- (Plastic) glasses, (tea)cups, (thermos) cups, plates, cutlery, bowls, pans, sharp knives, cutting boards, etc.

- Folding bike available upon request and at an additional cost (€5 per day or make a suitable offer)
