We love adventure and extreme outdoor sports. Especially in spring and summer, we regularly search for surfing/kitesurfing spots.
That's why we decided in 2022 to completely convert a Volkswagen Crafter into a fantastic campervan! After living in a campervan in Australia for a year, we know exactly what a campervan needs. With this experience, we built the perfect campervan for Europe.
The camper is now completely up and running and we regularly go out with it ourselves, but we also like to share it with others!
Because our campervan was converted from a bus to a campervan last year, everything is new and the bus is equipped with many amenities! The campervan is modern yet has a natural look and feel.
It's a spacious campervan (L3), where you can stand upright up to 1.93 meters! Its spacious layout makes staying inside easy even in inclement weather.
The layout creates a very spacious interior. The camper features a large transverse bed (fixed bed) with a width of 1.60 meters. At the foot of the bed, we've added a 1.00-meter extension. The extended section of the bed is 1.90 meters long.
Under the bed (in the back of the camper) is a large garage. This spacious area is ideal for storing camping and/or sports gear. Below is an overview of what else you'll find in this camper garage:
Two comfortable chairs
> Table
Fire extinguisher
Key safe for car keys (useful if you go surfing, for example)
Extendable shower head (We deliberately chose an outdoor shower instead of an indoor one. Our experience shows that an indoor shower is rarely used and takes up unnecessary space and creates moisture in the camper. This space has been used for the kitchen, countertop, and spacious seating.)
Inside the camper, we've built a seating area where four people can sit at a sturdy (folding) table. The bench on both the left and right sides is 1.05 meters wide.
The campervan is also equipped with a modern campervan refrigerator (including freezer compartment) and a sink with a pull-out faucet and cold water spray function. You can also enjoy cooking with a view. We built the stove (2 burners) near the sliding door on the side of the van!
But the camper van is equipped with much more:
Camping kitchen set for 4 people (plates, bowls, mugs and cups)
> Extensive cutlery drawer
Camping pans, salad bowls and cutting boards
Various storage cupboards (top)
> Bed linen
> 4 bath towels
Tea towels and kitchen towels
First aid kit
> LED lighting
> Porta Potti
Window darkening (curtains)
The campervan also features two solar panels on the roof, allowing you to camp completely off-grid! See below for other amenities you'll find on the exterior of our campervan:
Spare wheel (mounted on rear door)
Imperial
Stairs at the rear
Two LED lights on the outside
We've also equipped the campervan with the latest navigation system and a Bluetooth radio. This allows you to navigate to your destination with ease while listening to the radio or your own Spotify playlist.
The camper also has several USB connections.
To ensure safety, the camper van is equipped with a Bearlock and there is an additional steering lock in the camper.
You can park your car for free in our street during the rental period.
What else is important to know:
We only rent out the campervan if all drivers are at least 25 years old and have held a category B driving license for at least 3 years.
> The camper van may only be used for travel within the European Union, EFTA countries and Great Britain.
Collection and return upon consultation
The rental price includes insurance
We hope you have as many fun adventures with our campervan as we do!
Is our campervan not available on your desired travel date? Don't hesitate to contact us anyway. We're flexible and happy to help!
With adventurous regards,
Sam and Nienke
