Dani – 4p Volkswagen campervan from 2012

Original and very well-maintained Volkswagen California campervan from 2012. This campervan spent the first years of its life driving around Germany, and in 2014, Scharphof Campers from Nijverdal imported it to the Netherlands. We are only the third owner of this campervan. We've owned it for over two years now, and have driven over 15,000 km without any problems. The campervan is serviced annually and has recently undergone all necessary maintenance, so it's ready for years to come.

We take great care of it ourselves and expect the renter to take good care of it as well. Of course, it's still a utility vehicle, but I think we understand what we mean :-).

The campervan sleeps four, but experience shows that it can be quite cramped with four adults if you all want to sleep in the van. We recommend sleeping a maximum of three adults in the van (one downstairs, two upstairs), or two adults and two children. We have one mattress topper available that can be used both downstairs and upstairs.

The campervan is equipped with essential camping accessories, such as plates, cutlery, cups, and pans. Camping chairs and a camping table can also be brought along if desired. The campervan doesn't have a parking heater, but it does have a separate electric heater, which is perfect for comfortably heating the small space on colder or damp days. The campervan can also be completely darkened with the original curtains.

The campervan features an exterior awning, ideal for creating shade or keeping things dry outside in case of rain. It also has a bike rack for four bikes. However, this rack can only accommodate two "normal" bikes or four relatively light bikes such as mountain bikes or racing bikes. If you're bringing electric bikes, please use a bike rack on the tow bar.

Optionally, and upon request, it's possible to rent a bike rack. The estimated price for the bike rack (suitable for two bikes) is €30 per week or €20 per midweek/weekend. The estimated price for the trailer is €75 per week or €50 per midweek/weekend. We find the trailer ideal for keeping luggage outside the campervan as much as possible, making it easy to make the bed regularly without moving all the luggage.
