Update:

Ready for the summer season: the camper body inspection and maintenance were completed in April 2025. The MOT and engine maintenance were last performed in September 2024.
In 2024, Freeda received a major upgrade with a new solar panel that generates even more energy, allowing you to effortlessly go off-grid—for days, or even weeks if the sun cooperates. The radio has been replaced by a screen with CarPlay for Apple and Android that connects wirelessly to your smartphone. And she received a brand-new sound system with new speakers and a subwoofer so you can enjoy your favorite music even louder while driving!
Off-grid:
For true adventure and the ultimate sense of freedom, we've adapted the campervan so you can effortlessly go off-grid in sunny weather. For example, there are solar panels on the pop-up roof and a heavy-duty lithium battery. We've also installed an inverter to charge your devices. There's also a Netgear 5G router, which you can insert your own (prepaid) SIM card into, so you can stay connected even in the most remote locations. The only thing you have to worry about is finding the perfect spot!
En route:
Driving Freeda is a joy because she handles like a big car. She has a 6-speed manual transmission and 140 hp under the hood. Cruise control provides comfortable and consistent driving, and you can even safely descend a steep hill with it. This makes her a very comfortable ride, even in the mountains. Furthermore, the cockpit is fully equipped: air conditioning, a large media screen with CarPlay for Apple & Android, navigation, a rearview camera, and a radio. Because it's a large van, parking in the city center isn't a problem (but a second pair of eyes helps and prevents problems).
Camping:
Once you arrive at your destination, you can open the awning, unfold one of the four chairs and table, and pour your first glass of wine. You can cook on gas in what feels like an outdoor kitchen, as the sliding door opens to reveal a wide, unobstructed view. Tired from all the adventures? Push up the pop-up roof, lower the blackout blind, and get ready for a wonderful night's sleep. Sleep in one of the two beds, both large enough for two adults (although it's a bit more comfortable upstairs than the spacious bed downstairs). Kids can also sleep safely upstairs, as you simply pull the built-in net (from under the bed) down over the exposed opening. I don't need to tell you that waking up in the tent is an experience in itself; choose your view!
