Weinsberg Buscamper
Fully equipped 6-meter bus camper for 2 persons (+ 1 child), suitable for multi-day off-grid stays with 2 solar panels and 2 household batteries. The seating area and front seat can be rotated to create a child's bed (up to 1.60m).
Original spacious Weinsberg Carabus of 6 meters long and 2.05 wide on a Fiat Ducato with 130 hp from 2014. New tires July 2023. The camper has a fixed transverse bed of 185x140, kitchen unit with refrigerator, toilet / bathroom, sitting area and swivel front seats. Furthermore, plenty of storage space, a 2.5 m deep awning, hot and cold running water and gas heating.
Description
Dining/sitting area
Swivel front seats, table with wide bench seat, with large storage compartment and 2 overhead cabinets. Table can be folded up to a child's bed. 220 V and 12 V connection.
Kitchen
2-burner gas stove, worktop, sink with hot and cold running water, 220 V and 12V connection, refrigerator with freezer compartment. Very much storage space in 5 drawers and 2 cupboards.
Bathroom
Sink with hot and cold running water and biological separation/dry toilet (so no hassle with chemical cassettes).
Sleeping area
Bed 185x140 with slatted base, under which a large storage space and above 4 storage cabinets. Double telephone USB connection, 220V and 12V connection.
Technology
Fiat Ducato 130 hp, 6 gears, MOT until April 2025.
Diesel tank 90 liters, consumption 1:11 (in the mountains).
Windshield sunshade and dual telephone USB connection.
While driving, the alternator charges both the starter and the house batteries.
Facilities
Water tank of over 90 litres and very spacious waste water tank. For the winter there is a waste water tank heater.
At the awning there is one side wall. There are also two garden chairs, folding stools (2) and a small low table.
There are 2x100Wp solar panels with Votronic charger for 2 (new) household batteries of 180 Ah and the starter battery. Normal charging with the solar panels is about 135W. There is a temperature and overload protection.
The solar panels charge the household batteries more than enough to run the 12 Volt interior lighting and the 12V refrigerator (takes max 45W). Without sun or electricity you can camp freely for more than 3 days.
In addition, there is an external 220 Volt connection with 3 220V sockets inside. This 220 Volt can only be used if the camper is connected to power. There is also an inverter that provides 220V for charging laptops. For shore power, there are 2 couplings and 2 cable reels of 25m each. There is also a Votronic 220V charger for the batteries.
