Dear camper traveler,
After renting a campervan for a year through GoBoony, and a wonderful tour through Sweden and Norway, and with 25 years of camping experience (with a caravan), we are now proud to introduce our own campervan, "De Pijnappel."
The campervan is wonderfully spacious, and thanks to its length of just under 7 meters, it still feels remarkably agile in the city. And with the extra-powerful (150 hp!) Fiat Ducato multi-jet engine under the hood, even navigating mountain passes is a thrill. With cruise control, air conditioning, campervan navigation, a reversing camera, and Bluetooth phone connectivity, the driving experience is complete.
The top-of-the-line Knaus brand features a remarkably spacious toilet/shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. The single beds with slatted bases and luxurious mattresses guarantee a good night's sleep. The TV allows you to watch TV via Wi-Fi (camping) or 4G (using your own SIM data plan).
Once you've found a nice spot, park the camper and extend the 4-meter-wide awning, set up the luxurious chairs and table, and before you know it, you're enjoying a delicious Nespresso.
And don't worry if you find yourself in that dream spot without amenities; there are no fewer than two solar panels on the roof, and the camper has a large battery and 230V/1500W inverter so you can make coffee, charge phones, and computers. The lighting is all LED, and because the boiler, ring heater, and refrigerator automatically switch to gas, long-distance wild camping (four days) is no problem.
The camper has two lightweight gas bottles of 10 kg each, and you can easily use them for the entire holiday.
If you wish to continue your journey immediately and pick up the camper with your own car, there is a spacious parking area behind our house.
Every renter receives our campervan spotlessly clean. You'll naturally return it spotlessly clean. This is with the exception of the exterior cleaning, which we prefer to do ourselves.
We've written a fun guide about all this, with tips, tricks, and all sorts of facts about our own campervan. A copy will be in the campervan upon departure, but we'll also email it a few weeks in advance to get you in the holiday spirit.
