Dear camper traveler,
After renting a camper for a year via GoBoony, and having made a wonderful tour through Sweden and Norway and with 25 years of camping experience (with caravan), we now proudly present our own camper 'De Pijnappel'.
The camper is wonderfully spacious and that is because of the length of just under 7 meters it still feels remarkably manoeuvrable in the city, and with under the hood the extra powerful (150HP!) Fiat-Ducato multi-jet even driving mountain passes is a sensation. With further on board cruise control, air conditioning, camper navigation, reversing camera and a bluetooth telephone connection the driving pleasure is complete.
The top brand Knaus is equipped with a remarkably spacious toilet/shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. The single beds with slatted base and luxury mattress ensure a good night's sleep. The TV allows you to watch TV via WiFi (camping) or 4G (via your own SIM data bundle).
Once you have found a nice spot, you park the camper and extend the 4-metre wide sun awning, place the luxurious chairs and table and before you know it you are enjoying a delicious Nespresso.
Also no need to worry if you are on that one dream spot without facilities; There are no less than 2 solar panels on the roof and the camper has a large battery and 230V/1500W inverter to make coffee, charge phones and computers. The lighting is completely LED and because the boiler, ring heating and refrigerator also automatically switch to gas, long (4 days) wild camping is no problem.
The camper has 2 lightweight gas bottles of 10 kg each, and you can easily use them for the entire holiday.
If you wish to continue your journey immediately and come to pick up the camper with your own car, there is a spacious parking lot behind our house.
Every tenant receives our camper completely “spick and span”. Of course you return it the same. All this except for the outside cleaning because we like to do that ourselves.
We have written a nice guide about all this with tips, tricks and all sorts of facts about our own camper. A copy is in the camper when we leave, but we also email it a few weeks before to get into the holiday mood.
