Whether this is your first time or not, here is everything you will need for the great outdoors. We use it for our own holidays, so rest assured, it is very well set up. Staycation here you come! You are all ready for either wild camping trips or the use of campsites located all over the UK and Europe. There is even a bike rack.
It is ideal for couples but also suitable for families because it has 6 travelling seat belts. For example, four kids could sit around the table and play games (and watch TV on the wall) whilst Mum and Dad travel in the front. At night there is effectively a double bed up in the cockpit and another one downstairs next to a single bed. Lights can run off a battery (which is separate from the engine battery) or mains power when hooked up. Both batteries get charged when the engine is running.
The interior upholstery is fully matched throughout and the kitchen area has cooking utensils, pans, cutlery, cups, and plates next to the sink, cooking stove and grill. Underneath is the very efficient fridge and mini freezer that can run on battery, mains or gas. Typically, we set the fridge to run on battery whilst travelling (self-charging) and switch to mains 240V, or self-contained propane gas, once stationary on a site. USB Smart Phone charging points are available back and front and CDs can be played on the Sony DAB Radio. DVDs can be played on the TV which has a special electronic booster aerial.
Electric appliances (such as the included microwave cooker, electric blow heater, kettle and toaster) can be plugged into the several available sockets and a long lead is included to enable onsite link-up. There is a completely sealed-off gas fire and hot air is blown and circulated through hidden pipes. A separate gas water heater can be switched on for hot showers and washing up etc. The shower unit is fully functional.
There is a big tank for fresh water hidden away under a seat and piped to the sink and toilet by a 12V motor. Waste sink water is collected externally under the back of the van and can be released whenever appropriate.
The flushable toilet has a quick-release tank for easy emptying and there is a wardrobe area for clothes and lots of cupboards. The electronic rearview mirror is handy for reversing. There are two large propane gas cylinders located in an external compartment - so you will never run out. A portable table and chairs for outside picnics are included. You can enter big cities, no problem, but remember you personally will have to pay a congestion charge and/or ULEZ fee because my motorhome runs on diesel. So always check beforehand to avoid any surprises!
Have fun! Go for it!
