This Ford Grand Tourneo Connect small Mirco camper has it all in one and is bursting with all that you need for a great time away
In less than 5 minutes, you can turn this normal-looking 5-seater car into a small micro camper with a bed or eating area.
Why not put the backup and sit with the door open watching a lovely sunset or just chilling
With it's smaller size than a larger camper van or motorhome this vehicle is perfect for those narrow roads to explore Scotland and the Highlands and Islands.
The camper will come with everything you need for a great time away and here is just a few things it will include:
Double sleeping bag, bed cover, pillows, towels, kitchen utensils, electric kettle, water tank, bowls, plates, frying, pots, thermal blackout blinds and a portable gas stove (with some gas cans)
Also, includes a small portable picnic table and two picnic chairs
Plus a fold-up drying rack to dry any clothes (weather permitted)
You can go off the grid or hook up with the electric hock socket on the underside of the back
The small leisure battery will give you plenty of power to charge your phones, ipads, laptops, lights and many more small appliances and when you're not using it pop the solar panel out to charge the battery up again.
You also have a very handy electric cool box to keep all your food chilled when at a site so you can hook this up directly to the mains or when driving plug it into the car (please do not keep plugged in when the vehicle engine is off this will kill the battery) if you can't hook up not to worry food will still keep chilled for hours (time may vary depending on weather and how many times the box is opened)
Store some of your things in the 320L roof box that comes included
If you feel a little chilly at night we also include a small portal heater (for electric hock only) and blankets
The camper also features: AC, DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control, portable SAT NAV, automatic wipers and lights
The camper is very economical on fuel and a full tank can give you an advantage 550-600 miles (this will vary depending on driving conditions)
Note: This vehicle does not meet the euro VI/6 standard and so can't drive in any ULEZ, Low emission Zone or clear zone.
For Scotland, this will only apply if you plan to drive in the city centre of either Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Getting here: The camper is located in Arbroath. If you’re coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow trains run frequently from both cities to Arbroath train station.
