We are located in Dalkeith in Edinburgh, so very close to the airport and local train station at Eskbank. Ideal for breaks in the Borders, Highlands or further North to NC500. The van is perfect for mountain biking, climbing/bouldering, paddle boarding, surfing & even skiing.

Please follow the following house rules:

- Ensure inside of van is clean & tidy
- Do not clean exterior
- Toilet is empty
- Please ensure fuel tank is full before return
- We charge a fixed price per booking of £35 for gas, you do not need to fill this up on return. This is an 11kg bottle.

Pick up is at 1500hrs and drop off is at 1100hrs. Please inform us if you require timings outwith this and we shall try to accomodate around other bookings subject to an out of hours charge of £30. If you fail to inform us of timings, we may need to delay pick up.

If you are experiencing delays please notify us as soon as possible, this applies to pick up and drop off. We shall try to accomodate as best we can. Late drop off can impact other bookings, so a charge of £50 will be payable in this instance.

We had a great experience. John's motorhome was fully equipped and had everything we needed, and coordinating the pick-up and drop-off with Martin and Barry was a breeze. We travelled for four days and didn't have a single issue. I really can't recommend it enough. August 2025

Le camping car est vraiment agréable. Le seul défaut que je pourrais mettre c’est la bouteille de gaz rechargeable. Il n’y a pas de station partout pr la recharger et ça ns a coûté une consigne… Nous étions que 2 mais il est parfait pr être 4. A 6 on serait un peu serré mais c’est faisable. August 2025

From start to finish was an easy process for us new hirers Van was big and beds was amazing and so comfortable, bedding and linen was provided and kitchen was fitted out with everything you need on your trip, And it was spotless clean ! Will definitely recommend John to hire from and will be back ourselves August 2025
